it's actually a phone card company for long distance calls. My friend from toronto calls me using this number. It's not a scam.

We got a call from this number and when we called it back it asked for pin number????

Freddy my son called from this number and when i called it back i was asked for pin number?

Okay, figured it was a phone card company.

someone called me everyday 20 or more times/day,,,
wen i picked my phone, no one answered it...
they also ask me the PIN NO. wen i call back.

Learn to speak ENGLISH first then maybe you'll have better luck finding people.

When this number appears it is someone that you know calling you on a calling card, so they don't have to pay as much for long distance fees.

Yeah - my mother just called me from Toronto (I am in Barrie) and this number showed up.  Calling card :D

My parents from Toronto called me last night, but my call display showed this number.  needless to say it's not their number.  Bizarre.

called 3 times in 12 hours, no message appears to be a sales pitch for vacation rentals

Here too, they called from this number: 00416-8480123... this is Canadian phone number i think... but I am living in EUROPE, Hungary....!!!!!!!

This is a calling card number.  The recording that you hear asking for your PIN is for those people who actually have the cards.  Not sure what company, but this number shows up every time my cousin calls me.

This number is obviously someone trying to scam anyone they can.

My advice to you is get a cheap answering machine, hook it up to your phone and let the answering machine screen all your calls. If this messages keeps coming on your answering machine, just erase it. Never call it back and DO NOT give it any of your personal information, no matter what. It is easy enough for these scammers to get hold of your family information and use it to trick you into giving them more info.
DON'T let them do it to you. Just have a good laugh at the stupid message on your machine, then erase it and move on with your life. Eventually the scammer will call someone else instead.
