I have received numerous calls from this number...very annoying!  I have filed a report with the local police and traced the call.  I received the same recorded message when calling the number back.  Apparently the service provider for the number is Call-Net Communications.

Called back at night and got a message: "Hello and thank you for calling the General Information line, sorry we missed your call, if you have any questions or concerns please leave your name with area code and phone number at the tone and we will call you back as soon as possible. Thank you and have a great day"

This number has been calling my home for many months, is there any information about it? What can we do to stop the calls?

We've been getting sometimes 3 or 4 calls a day from these fools-anytime from 9:30 a.m. and as late as 10 p.m. Sundays are wide open, too. We get a break for a week or so and then they start up again. I just look at the number and then hang up. How do we get off the list?

I get a call from this number everyday around 5:30pm and this started only 2 weeks ago, but I guess whoever it is .. at least doesn't call on weekends. Lol! Help!!

They've been calling here for quite a few months, almost every day. There's never any reply, and its obnoxious.

Actually - 4 times yesterday!

Has been calling me for well over a year. Stops for a couple of weeks, and then starts again. Sometimes 3 times a day, often 2 times at least. All times of day, from mid-morning until late evening. You'd think after a year they would effin' quit.

Does nobody know who it is - if a business I can boycott, or a charity that I can NOT send my money to.

Keeps calling and no answer.

This number calls about 3 times a day.  It has just started early this week, but everyday for the last 5 days.  Mostly just annoying, but where there is nobody there and you call back and get that message,  I won't pick up the phone now incase it's some sort of scam.

calls every night around the same time.. no one is there when i answer and when i call the number back a mail box comeson right away saying thank you for calling the general information line.. VERY ANNOYING.. how can i stop these calls?!

Was not home when they called.  I called the number back to see what it was got the general information line but mail box was full.  Called back the next day and left message to remove my number from the calling list.  Did not leave me name or any other data just the phone number.  Will see if it works.

They are asking for donations for the Canadian Feed the Children. It is a telemarketer number, so they may represent many companies.

I used the email comment sheet to ask that they Do Not Call my number any more.  I hope it works.   They call my house at least once a day - it's driving me nuts.  I don't answer, but once I tried calling back to see who it was and got the *General Information Line*.   I didn't bother to leave a message....

They are calling me at lease twice a day.  Everytime I answer the phone, they hangup.  I've called back and left them a message to ask them to stop calling.

charities are exempt, have to tell each charity that calls to Do Not Call
but since this is one large call centre, ask to be on Do Not Call lists for ALL their clients, and affiliated businesses.

Yes this is a professional telemarketing company that does find raising for approx. 25 charities. They call almost every day, even on Sunday. I have reported them to the Canadian Direct Marketing Assoc. and added them to the "no call list" - which is a near waste of time.

Please refrain from giving them funds, as any charity that uses this service is disrespectful and uncaring about its supporters.

This is a telemarketing firm asking for donations on behlf of Save the Children - Canada.  They are a registered charity out of Toronto.  Many companies use the same telemarketer, so it won't necessarily always be the same person using this number.

No one is ever there when I answer, they call at least 4 or 5 times a month if not more.  I really hate these people!
