2 calls from this number tonight.  I called back and got an out of service message after the second ring. About an hour earlier the Toronto Star called asking if we wanted their paper.

Corexpress a courier company is a front for a drug smuggler Frank Pollacco.  He's a total fraud and con artist.  DO NOT do business with this guy it will only lead to trouble.  He has a wife and 2 kids but denies their existence and constantly cheats with other people (men and women) feeding them lies about what a big success he is.

This number continues to show up on my phone id. If you don't answer they call back right away. Now I have become very insulting to them within legal boundries. Makes me feel better.

BBM has a web site www.bbm.ca with lots of email address's and phone numbers. I'm sending emails to them to tell them I want off of their calling lists. If they keep it up I'll be calling them. I suggest everyone start doing the same thing!!!!!!

It's a guy by the name of Frank Pollacco.  He is a con artist... works scams in the Toronto area - he pretends to a big shot and cons people into giving his (fraudulent) companies money.  Watch out for these other numbers as well - 416-615-0300 416-615-0400, 416-837-8285, 416-825-8285, 416-777-2676, 416-777-2673.

Received a call from and phoned Bell to report it. Bell was no help. Told me to go to website www.cdma.com to report the difficulty which has to be a mistake as it is a website for Qualcom. Didn't see anything on that website that would help me.

Last night I received two calls from this number. One at 3AM and the other at 5AM. Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number and no one should be calling in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. What the hell? Tried calling it back and says out of service, like you've all said. How is this allowed?

This company calls and calls and calls  - every day.  I forget how to block last number called.  Help.

Phone has been ringing since midnight at approximately 10 minute intervals.  We hear fax beeps only.  I've asked Bell to send a request to stop which takes 1 week.  This has happened before with other fax machines and I don't understand why it takes Bell 1 week to act on it.  In the meantime, whoever owns this number, stop bugging people.  Do you know that you are not permitted to send faxes after 9:30 p.m.?!!

I get fax machine beeps from this place every morning before 8am and sometimes there is a voice message with beeps before i get in.  the number on the display is 416-861-1955 and like all of you calling it back says its not in service.

Got a call this afternoon. Woman said she was from BBM and was conducting some radio survey. Told her I was just out the door and she asked when would be a good time to call back. We'll see if she does.

OK!  I am writing an update to my previous post...  I spoke (posted) too soon :-(

Forget about CALL SCREENING (*60).  When I added 416-861-1955, it would NOT accept the number, and a pre-recorded voice said:

"WE ARE SORRY.  THE NUMBER YOU HAVE DIALED IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH THIS SERVICE".

Ugh.  Is there NOT ANY recourse ANY of us have to deny/reject/report this number and caller??  
Is the Telemarketing Lobby so powerful in Canada that citizens can't get a NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, just like the U.S. and AUSTRALIA have???

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past 3 days.  I have never answered the phone because I never recognized the number in the caller ID.  Nor has that caller ever left a message.

Finally, after receiving 2 calls just this morning (Sunday Nov. 18/07) -- the last one was moments ago at 10:30AM, I decided to do a Reverse 411 online.  When that revealed nothing other than it was a "local Toronto" number with Bell Canada, I Googled the phone number, and found this website.

It's called CALL SCREENING.   If you add a phone number to the CALL SCREEN LIST,
then that number will no longer be able to even ring through to your phone number.

You'd think it would be called CALL BLOCKING (*67), but nope, that's another feature, that allows
you to dial *67 and then call someone who will not be able to see your name or number on their caller ID.

To PREVENT any phone number from EVER ringing through to your Bell phone number, you have
to use:

CALL SCREENING -- which is *60.

I realized I actually have it so I used it by adding 416 861-1955 to the CALL SCREEN LIST.
I pressed *60, and then listened to all the recorded directions, until it described how to add the unwanted phone number and thereby prevent this freaking annoying number from ever ringing into my home again.

i got a call from this number, but i knew the person on the other line, but this person was in another part of the world. and when i called back, the messege was that the line was out of service
