Call to 819, on telephone of gouvernement du Québec !

I want to say this number is associated with CIBC simply because I had a missed call from one of their call centers and then this number called within a minute after. I couldn't swear that is who it is, but it seems that both numbers call me within an hour of each other every time. I'm in Nova Scotia, so there is no other reason for a 416 number to be calling me on my cell.

Just got a call from this number in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Didn't answer, but if it's the cruise one, then I've gotten it before. Stupid spammer says you won a free cruise, blah blah. Annoying.

Got a call on my cell but did not answer as I did not recognized the number. When I tried to call the number from a land line I get a message that the call can not be completed after dialing the 8th digit...

I got it in BC. Worries as family in Onmtario and thinking it was some emergency. Glad to know it is only a scam!

I got a call from this number then right after a call from unknown.  I was informed to call the CRTC. I'm from Timmins, Ontario.

I always miss long distance calls!!! Never feel the darn vibrate.

Anyway, glad this isn't a real missed call.

Just received a call from 416-905-2176...who is this?

Got the same call on my cell.  Nobody there.  Blocked any further calls

I answered it and there was no response so I hung up. Have no idea who it was!

Answered -> you've won... hung up I send text message: "Stop calling me with you junk calls" 20 times (unlimited text)
they may not get them but it makes me feel better. :-)

Automated message.  Called me in Toronto to perform a survey to claim a free cruise for 2 in Bahamas.   Press 1 to be connected or 2 to be removed from the list (another scam).  No details about the company

The idea of posting about the lack of info regarding the number in question is in the interest of public service. The more posts one encounters that say it is a bogus number or a scam, the more confident one can be in that conclusion.  Get a brain. There is no available information on the number otherwise people would post it.

3rd scam call I have receieved today. Haven't answered any. I want to know how they are getting my number so I can remove it from whoevers system it is on that is selling their client base to these "market research" companies.
