I have receved a lot of calls from these a.h. and every time i answer ...no one's there.
I have tried calling back but " there is no service at this #"...
I wish I knew a hacker to fix stuff like this...
Fight fire with gasoline kind of thing...

I received a phone call from (011) 416-905-2177 yesterday afternoon. It rang a couple of times, I answered it, but no one answered. I said hello a second time; still no answer so I hung up. It was kind of creepy. Now, I read that others have had troubles from this number as well. Not good.

Actually, it wasn't that well said..it could of been said better. They came off as being rude. Very much could it have been said better, and yet not come off as rude.

What I cannot understand is why the RCMP dont go after these guys, after all its fraud.

they called me twice while napping. i want to know how they are getting our cell numbers... what do we all have in common thatthey had all our info except credit? mastercard, loan companies....etc?

Same number keeps calling me...I am also on the do not call list and I have added this number to my blocked list and it keeps getting through.  Rather than a 1+ the area code, it displays as +416

9:10 Vancouver.  I am getting sick of these unknown callers.  There's got to be a way to stop them from infringing on my privacy.  I don't want to have to change my number again!

Also just got a call from 416-905-2177, I was on the phone, but saw the number on the missed calls.

I'm in Montreal Quebec, my girlfriend and I get a call from them once or twice a month each. Several people I know have also complained about it. It's a machine that says something like "Congratualitions! You have just won a new cruise ..." I never listened to the whole thing but it's extremely annoying, and they call at any time of day or night. This just woke up our newborn; if only I could sue.

Classic skeptical senior citizen! I'm sending this message poolside from the Bahamas on my free trip that I won! What kind of sap wouldn't give their social security number and credit card information to such a legitimate endeavour? It's never been easier to live like royalty!

Missed a call from this number at 9:26 AM in Calgary on my cell (Telus network).

Get these calls on my cell phone, not my home phone.  Wireless providers need to stop this.  I am on a do not call list and am sick of people trying to scam me.

So, since you're "getting it back" why would they need your credit card info at all? In this day and age I'm shocked people are so naive. You're going to learn a very big lesson unfortunately. Don't give anyone your CC info.

Got that # monday morning  10:43 on my cell.  Don't know anyone in taht 416 area code, didn't answer...  I do subscribe on the CRTC phone list to avoid been phone. that system doesn't seem to work.  :-(
