Said his name was Normal Michael - heavily accented.

Claimed to be calling from Sun Life Insurance. Wouldn't identify himself for the longest time, then started to threaten me: "I will come at your place" and he read me the street number. Kept asking me "Are you gay?" in an accusatory manner. And "Do you drink?" I hung up.

Think Bell or the OPP should be on this...

They are calling and trying to get your name and all the ifo they can get for Identity teft .
Beware and don't give any info , if they ask your name just hang up.
Last night I had somone else very persistent that I tell them my full name just to verify that I'm not the person they were looking for even after I told them that they got the wrong # , when they saw that I'm not teling them my name they told me that they are calling from UPS and there is a package for me that they need to deliver RIGHT, I was born yesterday

Was calling me everyday and now everyday. Very annoying.

Pretending to be from Sun Life... He is an Indian claiming to be "Mike" and sometimes "Scott". I told him to not call again and he hung up on me. Called me 1M times!

Some jerk trying to book an appointment with someone from Sun Life to come into my home.  Told said jerk I'm not interested and he said " Listen to me " to which I replied, " No I'm NOT listening to you " and hung up.

Just received a call from this number.  He spoke very quickly and with a thick accent. I could pick up a single word.

Then out of no where the accent got lighter he told me off and hung up on me.

Also getting very frequent calls from this number, dead silence on the line. When I try to call back it says it can't be completed as dialled Don't know what to do about it.

Another Coolie, another scam.  Damn thing can't speak English, whining about air duct cleaning. I really, honestly wish that India could be disconnected from telephone services.

Came on as if he knew me - said his name was John - probably calling from a call centre in India.  I totally confused him by answering every question with a question.  He asked for my name - I told him he should know my name as he had called me.  He eventually got totally flumusked!  At which point, I hung up and had a good laugh.I did read something very amusing the other day which suggested that when these calls come through, you answer them with 'it is done, but there is blood everywhere'!

they called twice asking for someone who does not live in our household, even though I said no in our home with that name lives here, the still call once or twice a month. So I just put them on my block phone list.

Called, claiming to be from Shaw, told him we're not interested. Since then has been calling 2 or 3 times a day and hanging up without comment.  We have blocked the number

I get one or two A DAY from this number and there is no one on the other end.  About a month ago there was a caller at the other end and I told them to take me off their calling list.  Since then I get the phantom calls.  Very annoying!!

Me too ---- he is very aggressive and forceful.
I am skeptical because the caller-ID does not display the business name SunLife like a ligitimate business calls.

Claim to be a call from Sun Life who speaks very poor English (with Indian accent) trying to book an apointment, which I refuse.

I am a senior citizen  and they want to sell me more life insurance to guarentee me to live to an age of 150?????   LOL.

I got a call a few weeks ago from a guy who said he was from Shaw Cable, I had got simething in the mail so I thought they were following up, we have Cogeco here. I was thinking I would not want to deal with a company when their sales people can barely speak English. Now over the past few days that number has called mymline over 6 times. I'm going to block it & call my telephone provider.

This number keeps calling including week-ends and holidays.  I decided to answer today and no response.  Who are they?

Calls every two days, says he's from sun life. Asked him to stop calling but he still calls. Very annoying.

I'd be interested in knowing if being on the no call list helps...

416-905-4161 calls my mom everyday. She is elderly, and does not need the annoyance.

Calls everyday. Says they are from Shaw. I contacted Shaw to complain and was told this is not them. I originally told caller I was not interested and now I still get calls everyday (sometimes more than once a day). When I do answer to tell them to stop the caller immediately hands up. It is some guy with an accent possibly from India. Very annoying caller so I put myself on the no call list and hope it will help.

Calls all the time and when I tell him I'm not interested he hangs up on me. Not a number you can call back

Getting the same call from 416-905-4161. First time was a guy claiming to be from Shaw cable. Next 100 times was no answer. Calls twice a day, everyday for the past month. I don't pick up the phone anymore when this tool calls.

Stop calling me at all hours of the day!!
