Yes I am getting calls from North Vancouver office number daily now ; from 604 229 0076. As soon as I googled this phone number Iristel Inc. came up and I already saw on their Facebook page bunch of people complaining about unsolicited calls. When you check their site they seems to present them selves as phone providers. I tried to file complaint with BBB as these are daily calls now but I could not as they are in Ontario and I live in Vancouver area so I am not sure how to stop them from harrasing continuously.

Third world mushmouth losers whining for Sunlife.  Is a scam.  Telephone service should be disconnected to third world countries.  No one is interested in what they have to say anyway.

Called today claiming to be from Sunlife. When my husband tried to talk he was continously interupted. The East Indian man on the other end was very rude and would not let a word in edgewise. Why can't the police do something about this???? According to this site the same person and number has been calling using different company names since 2008 and continues to do so. What should I do???? PLEASE HELP!!!!

When I taking a nap, a guy called from this number to ask for my husband, he said it's from Global ...Company.  I was too tired to talk to  him and asked him to call back another time.

An East Indian accented man called here tonight claiming to be from Sun Life and that they had someone in the area in the next few days to discuss.... I cut them off saying I wasn't interested. He started to push harder saying he wasn't a telemarketer and not selling anything. I told him as long as he was trying to sell me something I wasn't interested and I doubted Sun life would call and give away free insurance to me out of the blue. At this point he advised I should talk to his supervisor. As I was explaining I didn't need his supervisor I just wasn't interested I was transferred silently to some East Indian woman. When she asked what I wanted, I told her nothing and then told her you guys called me to sell me insurance and I wasn't interested. At this point she came rude and told me to shut up. I then asked who are you, what is your name. At which point she claimed to be my boss and would talk to me about it tomorrow. That left me a little speechless and after a moment's silence she hung up.

called today at 2:50..listened in silence then hung up..

Called my home saying they were with Sun Life Financial and that one of their financial adviors was in our area and wanted to come to the house to discuss our investments. They already knew the address. I certainly hope that nobody is ever foolish or trusting enough to follow through if they get a similar call.

MY parents got a call from this number stating that by law they are doing internal checks in everyone's home. They said it is the law and they have to let them in to check tonight at 8 pm. Creeps!

This person said he was working with bell canada & know such thing.he needs to get a real job and stay off the phone calling..I ,m going to the cops about this.

I received several calls by someone that called himself John, very persistant and very rude, saying he was from some phone company, he wanted to get personal information such as credit cards and sin numbers from anyone so he would give some kind of a deal, I did not give him any information so he
got upset, I find this type of calls very suspicious, how can I verify if this is authentic.

This person called me from bell Canada asking me if i`m with bell for m internet and telephone. Then I answered that i`m not and that i do not need it and hung up. After that the person called me again and started swearing in english, then in punjabi. I hung up again and warned the person that i will call the police if this doesnt stop, but the person did not seem to understand that and called for the third time swearing again.

The agent (INDIAN GUY WITH A STYLE OF PRETENDING THAT HE IS NORTH AMERICAN)say he is calling from bell and asked how bell is doing , and if i have computer, or T.V. etc.
and he was so rude and misbehaved and threatend me with my discontction with bell , iam sure lot's of people are getting this type of calls called the bell and informed about the incident

416  342-6188  Nuisance calls from ...they say Bell.  I called Bell ...Ian customer service rep...answered and I asked for his supervisor and I was forever waiting for him to call and I finally hung up and called another Bell number....it is not Bell and you should call Phone Busters about this number... Ian sounded like a packie that is calling from this number.
Today Oct.12  a call from 416 907-0553 came and the same thing....packie calling but when you do a call back to find out the company name to get taken offf the calling list, you get an operator telling you to put your pin number in.....as if!!!!!!!!  These calls are as stupid as the callers....  Call Phone Busters...even Bell does not know who these people are and  you should let the police take care of it.

I am very upset about this call, they say they are calling from Rogers they had my personal information such as my home address when I ask for employee number and name. this is what he gave me R1279 name as Ralph Jackson.

When I contacted Rogers there is no name or employee by that name. My problem is how did they get my personal information?

This is a very serious matter and i am going to see that something is done about it.

I did get a follow up call from Bell Canada.  I was not home to get to talk to them but I will be following up with them since I e-mailed the CRTC.  I am interested to see what they have to say.

I  just got another call from 416 907 0553.

The company name is IRIS  - phone number is 416 - 299 - 4521.
I got the person's voice mail, and told him if the calls do not stop, "NOW, TODAY".  Now that I have a contact number.  They will be charged with harassment.
So if everyone that has received a call from 416 - 907 - 0553.  
Can now call this a** hole at 416 299 4521, and ask him personally to stop the calls. "OR ELSE"

hi i am retired and live alone  this ## call's my place every day sometimes 2 or3 times  a day they wont answer me when i say hello and wont leave a message on my machine just hang up can you tell me how to stop this call tryed to block but can't  thank you

almost 2 weeks  in a row  no message, and silence.I did call them back and call cannot be completed as diled. I am so tired of it.

String the fellow along, agree to everything so that you get this information.

Am now getting calls also from 0554 and there is a big website on this number as well.

I just had this call.. some sort of Rogers 3rd party telemarketing

I had this number call yesterday and they said they were doing a promotion for Rogers cell phones.  They ended the call when I told them I already had a cell phone with Telus.  Today I get call from this same number and this time they say they are doing a promotion for Telus cell phones.
I told him that he just called yesterday concerning a Rogers cell phone and he ignored me and continued with the sales talk.

Just received a call from this number...was on phone and no voice message left.  I called back the number and get the same thing as other comments made..." my call cannot be completed as dialed"..

The first time I told them to stop calling me I didn't give them a chance to identify themselves.  

Of course, they disregarded my request and called again.  

This time, they identified themselves as Rogers Communications.  Big surprise, there.  I asked them to put me on their do-not-call list AGAIN, and told them to make damn well sure they honoured my request this time, as I have already complained to the CRTC.

I am tired of answering my telephone and no one is at the other end.  This is the number identified when I press *69. From research on the internet it is identified as Group Telecom.  I wish these idiots would stop calling my number.

Should any of you be successful in actually speaking to the irritant at 416-907-0553 please FIRST ask irritant in a very friendly way for the phone number he is calling from, the name of his company, and the name of the irritant.

Then post the information that you obtained.  With this information we might have some success.

I've been getting the same thing. I tried calling back but it won't connect, I saved the number on my phone as DO NOT ANSWER. So at least this time I'll know it's not someone's cell phone calling me! gggrrr.

We called Rogers and they informed us that the reseller that owns this number is IRISTEL  - 416.848.9804. We called them and were informed that they have the number belongs to one of their resellers, who by now could have further sold it to another reseller, and so on and so forth.
The woman we spoke to at IRISTEL was helpful and said she'd look into getting our number removed if she could (we called after hours). Let's keep our fingers crossed (these calls are SO IRRITATING!!)

we've beeen getting these calls for a lang time now. It isnt funny, nor amusing because some people in my house need to sleep during the day, it is a very big nuisance, and when im home alone, it gets really freaky. Inever get a response, just after a few seconds after I pick up the phone, the other side hangs up. I am glad that other people have looked into this problem, and today alone ive gotten three calls.

Whoever owns this phone number, please stop the calls!
