Well, I'm late to this party, with faxes just starting lately. Boy, what a pain. I've called and called. I also let the companies know I'd never use them due to this.
I put our number in the do not call list, but from others' experience this will not work.

They have already been cited by the CRTC, refused to pay the fine and and have now been charged. They also have an "F" rating with the BBB.

Do what I do - I get a cat "sample" from the litter box and send it with a copy of their fax to : Mass-Media Inc. 105-13321 Yonge street, Suite #250 Richmond Hill, ON L4E 0K5. I put the same address on as the return address, and put NO postage on. Either way, it will be delivered or sent to the "return" address...which is their address as well.

We have to stop these faxes it is costing a fortune in ink and paper and there should be a law against this kind of advertising. I have called Mass-Media Inc  4 times to get my fax number removed and I just received 3 faxes.  So now I call the advertisers and tell them to remove my fax number and that I would never deal with them because this kind if marketing is unacceptable.

If advertisers do not get results only complaints maybe we can stop this from happening

I keep receiving faxes from various numbers...this is one of them.  They all go to the same voicemail which says it can't help you to remove your fax

A MUCH better idea is to call them out for a big job and when they get to your door either figure out a way to keep them there wasting time or tell them to get lost, you just called them to waste their time like they wasted yours

I also received a fax from Mass-Media fax # 416-900-4633. I can't call to have it removed because they hang up, sent back faxes and informed them to remove my #....still getting faxes. Tried to get through to the CRTC....10-15 minutes wait. I will try again later. Just in case you don't have the # to
CRTC; 1-888-495-8501 If we all call maybe we'll get somewhere!

I have called them four times at the number they provided to have your fax removed: (416) 800-1106 and they persist in sending out junk faxes.

One solution may be to report them to one of the local newspapers so they can have fun with a nice newstory at the end of the day and also contribute to eliminating this scoundrel.

I have filed a complaint with the CRTC as our residential fax # is on the DNC and I've called the number removal line to no avail.  My next step is to contact the business who advertise with Mass Media (aka BNC) and complain to them.  I will never do business with any of these places advertising in this manner.  Mass Media Inc and BNC are crooks who need to be...well, if I go any further it might be considered threatening.

I received a fax and then called this number (416) 907-7555) that advertises One Stop Professionals for Home Renovations. Don't ever hire anyone that sends mass faxes. They change their land lines so I'm sure they would be hard to get ahold of if you weren't happy with their work.

The fax lists a number 747-724-3479 to call to be removed from the list. I've called each time I've received a fax and they say my number has already been removed. Don;t know why I keep receiving faxes then.

I have filed a complaint with the CRTC, let's see if they do anything. It's been a week and I haven't heard from them.

The fax sates the company is Mass-Media Inc and gives a phine umber that is bogus, too many nyumbers 905-698-01111, the adress is also bogus #105 - 13321 Yonge Street Suite 250, Richmond Hill, on L4E 0K5.

Whenever I get faxes from this company I call the firm and complain, usually only get a machine & not calls back. A few times I found the name of the advertiser and got their fax number and sent them numerous faxes of a letter compalining about them using this company.

The number 416-907-7555 advertised as One Stop Professionals will not receive a "blocked" "*67" call from you.  You must disclose your identity to complain as the other number that is on the junk fax 416-800-1106 is difficult to reach and may yeild the same response.

In reaching the 416-907-7555 person they indicated the owner was Andrew Brews at 13085 Yonge St. Unit #111.  The actual business name would not be disclosed.  If you get it maybe Revenue Canada should be notified about the number of different "company names" are being used to ensure this person is paying his/her fair share of taxes.

There are a number of units at this location as indicated in a Prophone CD 1997 however a reverse search from canada411.ca yeilds no address found from the associated postal code L4E3S8.  I will try Street View by Google to get a better picture.

May I suggest trying other ways of identifying who this person is as they seem to be able to get unlisted phone numbers as in my case.  The best avenue is to try and reach them and stop the replication of your number and threaten to send him a bill for tying up your fax machine line.  better still use this site to indicate who these people are so that others can decide how to deal with the situation.  These telemarketers make a ton of money and the number of people who hate these calls is growing.  Good luck.

Call them from a payphone and have them come out to that Yonge St. address to do some "handyman" work for you.

Just sick of getting un-solicitated faxes, I've tried calling, but just get answering machines.
I 'm still investigating, and will have them charged when I find who the owners are.

Also getting fax this "Bogus" firm; and others eg Servitor.com. Their fax  # 416 848 6891. Lets all "flood" their fax machine with their own junk and publish their tel. & fax number

I have  bat ready.  I'm sure you will hear about it on the news because after I'm done with them I'll be arrested and in the news. Then everyone will know who they are also.

Here it is Jan 2011 two years after the first posting... and Mass Media is still sending out multipe faxes, I've tried calling the do-not-call numbers but it is constantly busy. Why can't we get these folks shut down?

More of the same.  Called the numbers of the firms and said "please don't send out godam unsolicited faxes."  

Anyone who can get these folks removed is doing a _good thing_.

Its unfair to piss off the advertisers, so, if your going to complain - complain at the source.  Here is a lead --- do as you wish.

Would never deal with a company that uses a junk fax service and doesn't have the cojones to include its information in the fax header, as required!

If you check the BBB in Canada it says that this company is NOT accredited with the BBB but has a history of violating the BBB policy and indicating that they are with the BBB. The Better Business Bureau has refused them accreditation because of poor service, low quality products and refusal to respond to complaints.

Buyer beware - if they fraudulently say they are with the BBB, how good can their product be??????

What I do is make about 20 copies of their own fax – and any other I receive – and fax it back to them. Just make sure you program your fax not to show your fax number. I just sent 60 faxes their way today!!!

get 2or 3  11x17 pieces of paper, tape them together like a circle...end to end...and fax them continuously all day long....it will just keep looping.......print in big letters...take me off your fax call list a***ole....and perhaps once their paper bill gets high...they will do something about it.
