Just started to get calls from this number but I also get calls from all over the states even though I tell them to take me off the calling list I guess we get it from both sides of the boarder I screen my calls now but I shouldn't have to

I work for MPI. Our job is to take your money. If not your money, then your mother's money, your grandmother's money, your daughter's money, etc. We don't care if we have to lie to you to get your money. It's true that we only give 15% or less to the charities we fund raise for. But who cares? They're not doing it so what the hell do you expect. I'm trying to get a new car, my girlfriend needs some new shoes, and I have to stay flossin on these darkies. I'm writing this while drunk so I don't care if you get mad and I run MPI so they'll never fire me.

We operate at 1919 University Ave. in St. Paul, MN if any of you want to come see me. I have goons that work for me that will beat you to a bloody pulp. Most of the people that work for us have criminal records, so you don't want to mess with us. We hire them to get a WOTC from the government. It really helps us save on payroll. I mean, I like some of those darkies, but they're just to dirty to ever truly be my friend. The truth is, if they don't make money for us, we get force them out. They are easily riled up, so all it takes is a little prodding to get them out the door.

Anyways, what we do is get a contract from some organization like the Florida Highway Patrol Command Association or the Nation Association of Chiefs of Police or a Breast Cancer Society. Cops are cool but they're broke so they'll take anything they can get in terms of funding. Breast Cancer people are the same way, they're just so desperate for money that they allow us to fundraise for them. If communities were more involved in fundraising for these organizations, they wouldn't turn to us. We give them 15% or less of everything we raise and our pledges start at $75, $50, or $35. We like to target the elderly, disabled, and retired because we just can't get enough of those government checks. They put a nice chain on my neck and the bi****s love me. I love talking an old lady out of her social security check, it just brightens my day.

This old lady I talked to once gave me a sob story about how her husband had just died and that she was going through a foreclosure. Cry me a river. I guilt tripped her about the lives that would be lost and the children that would suffer if she didn't donate to us. She ended up pledging $100, thanks to my charm. I love MPI, I get paid and there is nothing you losers can do to stop it. Quit complaining and let me get money. I understand that alot of you don't like giving money to darkies, to be honest they only get paid $8/hour. I get paid way more than that so you're not giving all of your money to darkies, you're giving most of it to a very handsome guy.

I tried the link above, from Nicole in Alaska... but had no luck.  I was told that I could only file a complaint if I had a valid Canadian area code.  This is SO frustrating!!

They call and hang up after the second ring, right before my answering machine picks up.

You can't report these calls to the FCC Do Not Call registry, as they are being made by Non-profit organizations. I believe this is harassment and I think I am going to write my Senator. This is rediculous and I shouldn't have to pay $4 a month to block these calls either. Try telling them to remove you from their list and they've hung up before you can say anything. Especially this one group who keeps calling my husband! Argh!!! This is not the only web forum complaining about these folks, either. Good Luck!

No one is there when we answer

This shet call us every night and every morning around 4-7a.m. Wakes up all the kids, called the telephone company, we were told that this telephone # is calling from Canada, and they're not able to block it!!!! Troopers also said they're not able to do anything about it, they said to go out on this site and see how many people are trying to blame them about the calls.  Before we used to pick up the phone, but nobody answers, then we started not picking up the phone to hear on the answering machine who it was, but every time it's about to turn on, they put the phone down and recall again several times. My wish is to whoever it is , is to have them have diahrea, so they won't be able to pick up the phone to call around!!!!!!!

Just got the call, on my cell phone!!!  Couldn't catch it in time, will probably tell them that I work for the troopers just to mess with them

Denise, why hadn't I thought of blocking the call?  Duh!!!  Though I still would like to put these jerks out of commission, I think I'll try it your way for now.

I wish there was something we could do about this number, it makes me angry that nobody with the power to help seems to really care, when it truly is an inconvenience to us as individuals!  

I don't want to have to change my phone number in the future if this persists.  I am more than willing to ban together with others offended by this number to make a joint complaint that would possibly be heard (and even tended to)!

I am in Fairbanks, Alaska and someone from this number has called me several times and I always call it back and it just rings. I have blocked it.

Yeah these a$$wipes call twice a day. They ask if so-and-so is home, and if they aren't they hang up!

got another call from this 416-947-0000 number this morning, no-one there

I received a call from this number and missed it. When I was calling back, a message told me that this number was invalid.

No message and no name on the caller ID.  I have PhoneValet hooked up to my Mac so I hardly ever get bothered by unknown callers anymore, but I've added the number to my block list after seeing all the comments here.

I get calls from this number often!!  Yesterday 2 times, today so far they've called once.  In the past, it was a solicitor for Alaska State Troopers.  I think it's a scam and will not answer anymore.

In the same boat where getting calls from 416-947-0000 and either nobody will speak or today a female asked for my wife and before telling them that she was not home, I asked who was calling and she gave a first name only. I asked who she was with and she stated a charity. I told her that we keep getting calls each day and to stop calling. She told me that she has not called before, so I yelled at her that we keep getting calls from the umber she is calling from each day and to take our number off their list........we will see!!!

These bozos have been calling on an almost daily basis.  I always ignore unidentified callers, but decided to pick up this once to tell them to stop calling, but I got dead air.

One tip that people may find useful is to record the disconnected phone number tones at the beginning of your answering machine message.  This way the automated dialing system that calls will (hopefully) be fooled into thinking your number has been disconnected and then remove the number from the database.

Got a call from this number 8/17/2008 2:46PM. Said some trooper fund in Alaska and that they would love to get a donation. They knew my full name!
