You're ridiculous. I know someone who works for this company and they aren't a scam. It's literally their job to do all of background checks for large companies, such as TD Bank and Manulife. You were probably just a bi*** and didn't give them time to explain themselves. They have an actual consent form from the person they are asking about that that person signed in order for the company to get that information..god people like you are so dumb..

This is a scam they called asking for a lot of personal info. I hung up they called back, now they wont stop calling.  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER

the number belongs to http://www.kroll.com/ - among other things they provide background screening services for high powered companies. I got a call from them to check out a reference for someone I knew who had applied for employment at a bank.  

** I wouldn't ignore it unless your friend didnt tell you that you were being used as a reference!

first a lady called... then the phone rang about 4 more times...then they called again ...it was a man the second time..i told him to take us off the list too..he quikly commented something about a reference too
