a nuisance!!!!!

The number belongs to a Collection Agency in Toronto ON Canada.
Suggestion: Block it or dont answer.

I have received a call from 416 969 2186 (extension 6201) today. The person on the other side said that her name is Donna T and that she is telephoning me for business matters. How did she find out my telephone number and my name? Who was she?

No message left......call back....they just answer with the persons name and saying customer service.

Hello Gatestone POS.......thank you for calling my house at 8:19 am.  This fine Saturday morning!

Havent heard anything from lovely gatestone for a few days but it seems they feel the need to call home and cell at 07:04.  LOL  realllllllly?!!  And you wonder why people dont answer the phone, and think your all dirt bags.

I have been getting calls from a collection agency in Ontario regarding a credit card debt in Canada. When I asked for the agents license number he balked and refused to give it to me, which is in violation of the regulatioins set out by the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services. Since that conversation I've started getting calls from a different agent at a different location and from the above telephone number. I don't dispute the debt but I refuse to carry discussions any futher with the agent or any of the associated agencies until I can get verification that they are all legally registered and have the right to contact me in the US where I am a legal resident. I've written to the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Affairs and am waiting for a response..

Don't answer any call from the 1-416 area code ive found any number that calls from that area code to be all scam artists they been calling me 2 or 3 times a day with diff numbers from the same area code it is annoying as hell.

They call multiple times a day.  I choose not to answer and they never leave a message.   But they have been calling for months!   It's driving me nuts and I don't even answer!   I'm registered with the do not call directory too....

They won't stop!

This number calls on an average 2-3x per day. Each time asking for a person by name (do not know this person) and it says "if you are such and such this is an attempt to collect a debt. If you are not such and such there will be a three second pause to hang up, as this is a private matter". It then pauses for the three seconds and then gives the persons name again and a case number and directs you to call this person back right away. If it's supposed to be private and confidental for this person why do they leave the information on the message?! Skirting the law I guess.
