same text message saying "hey" then waits for a response, which you say who is this, he says Dave, wait, who is this & you respond w/ your name.  This is what I did which 2 seconds later realized I shouldn't of.  
So I looked up this number which brought me to this site.  Is everyone from CT?
What is the deal w/ this?

this number sent me a text saying "hey" and i responded asking who it was and they said "kyle, sup girl" i kept texting for a bit b/c i thought it was a friend of mine who got a new number, but turns out just some creep who is texting random people obscene things.

I just got the same message but didn't reply...
