They started calling my house yesterday.  I haven't answered the phone.  I will block them.

It is wierd that this call came from a Springfield Mo. telemarketer ,because I have been searching for a hotel in the Branson area  they have latched onto my phone info from my search.  Could not undersiand who he said he was he talked to fast. So I hung up on him.

My hubby & I both keep getting calls from this number. The first time I answered and it immediately disconnected. Four additional calls, and every time it rang once and disconnected. From the comments I suppose it must be from the drawing we entered at planet comicon last month. Very annoying!

I entered a drawing to win a mustang at a car show in Minneapolis... I just had a call from these people saying i was one of 35 people who's name were drawn and offering me 3 days 2 nights in a luxury hotel, 30 dollar dinner certficate and tickets to see a show of our choice just for 110 dollars! Told him it sounded just too good to be true and that i have been scammed in the past (Which is true!) and he said there was no catch... I'm so tempted to go for it but it will just be my luck to get scammed again!

YOU have to call THEM to use the package and set up the trip, you tell them when you want to go and they give you a confirmation number and you go. If you pay them and never call them back that's your fault...why don't people just LISTEN to what the person says on the phone...LISTEN PEOPLE! You have TWO ears for a reason!!

3/19/2014--I got a call to my cell from this number. I didn't answer it. I Googled to find out whose number it was and found this board (among others) where people had received calls from the same number.

We did go to Branson, MO last summer for a vacation...but I couldn't imagine they would wait this long to start calling us to try to sell us something. Unless they think we travel there every summer...  UGH! I hope the calls don't continue.  I should add them to my directory as "TELEMARKETER: DON'T ANSWER"  LOL

Damnit. Signed up for a car at world of wheels in milwaukee and already getting called lmao. Wonder how many people they actually manage to scam by cold calling.

For us, it was a dark blue Camaro at Opry Mills Mall. They called and said that I was in the top 30 to receive a vacation Branson. But I had to pay 139.99 that very night in order to get the vacation. If I didn't pay the money for the vacation, I wouldn't qualify for the car drawing at the end of week. I do believe that's illegal: I'm going to report them.

I haven't been to Branson in years, have not signed up for anything and received a call from this number several times today, I just blocked it!

I had a call of the same nature.  I did sign up to win a free trip to Branson at a local festival.  Got a call 2 months later, saying the free trip was given away, but that only 3 entries were drawn to receive the trip for 80% off.  That would cost me $139.  She went on for a while about all the stuff included in the trip, and how we MUST attend Stormy Point.  I said I don't know - is there any info they can send me on this (I wanted to see if it was legit).  She said, Well, you have to take the offer while we are on the phone.  I did not, and after reading this forum, I'm glad I didn't.
Beware people who want your credit card info during a phone conversation in which THEY call YOU.

Got the messages 3 days in a row after entering a sweepstakes online, good thing is with the Samsung Galaxy or IOS7 on iphone you can now block the calls and never receive them, I love technology

be bothered about a timeshare.  There is a difference between a vechicle and trip.  But I know what you are saying I think they sell our telephone numbers on these contests.

Keep getting the call from them. I too entered to win a car, but it in Tennessee at the mall. My husband gets the calls too. Neither of us answer because I have won dozens of legit contests since I was 5,and the legit ones always leave a voicemail.

I am so glad that I am not the only one recieving these weird phone calls! I signed up to win a car while I was on vacation in Branson about a month and a half ago and I started recieving these calls about 2 weeks ago. However when I answer they hang up on me? I'm going to try and call the number like some of y'all did, but mostly I just ignore the calls and let my phone ring. Any way to stop them?

I, too signed up to win a car at a local festival. I have been getting approximately 5 calls a day from this number. Each time I tell them I am not interested. One day they start calling me on the job. I am a teacher who works year round. I tell them politely that I have students and not to call this number. I ask how they got it, because I did not give my place of employment. The man did not answer. One day they called my cell and work phone back and forth for about 20 minutes! Finally, today after 2 calls already this morning, I call and get the number to their marketing department. Crystal (probably fake name) answers. I made my request "put me on yur do not call list." She took my name and number. Then she put me on the phone with a man who proceeded to tell me there is nothing I can do because I filled out the card. He would not let me speak. So I was getting louder to speak over him and I kept saying I dont care about the spiel or anything else take me off the list. He had the nerve to say, "You're a teacher, you should know not to yell!" Then he kept asking for my name and number. I told him I gave it to Crystal and if I got one more call I would call the phone company and/or the police. He said their is nothing I can do. But I intend to find out what I can do and put a stop to it.
I will futhur let everyone I know, and many of my friends travel,to not do business with these scammers!

This is a time share place in Branson, MO. They called me a few days ago but I didn't answer it but my phone caller ID said it was out of Branson, MO. Then today a friend of mine said she got a call saying that she won a trip to Branson, MO but she would have to listen to a time share seminar in order to get it. She asked how they got her name to "win" it and they said it was from the drawing she had entered at a local festival recently that was to win a Mustang. I had also signed up for that drawing and I do remember seeing the fine print that mentioned that by signing up you give some time share company permission to call or send info. So it's not a scam but its annoying. Time share companies offer free trips like this but while you are on the trip, you are staying at one of their properties and you will have to sit through a long time share presentation, some up to 8 hours long and if you leave before you're supposed to, you will have to pay for the stay yourself.

These SOB's are relentless!

Received a call from them today, stating I won a 3 night stay in Branson MO. I was "one of 30" people drawn and my prize was valued at over $6000.  He offered me an extended stay, movie/food/ dining vouchers, Gift certificates to theme parks. He went on and on about what I won, how Branson is a music capital city...then asked if I was over 25yrs old and made more than $40K / year

Asked me for $139 upfront, then when I FINALLY got a word in.. I mentioned I was CANADIAN and don't  qualify to win american prizes/draws. He puts me on hold, begs me to use an American address of a relative so I can "qualify" to win.

I remember filling out a form when I was visiting Texas a few months ago at a Concert.. had  NO idea that my information will be sold.

I hope they don't call back...

They just called today from this number say I won a trip to Branson after singing up to win a car at a camping show but since I'm 18 I can go so they wanted me to tell a friend over the age of 40..! Sound like a scam to me..!

I got a call from them just a bit ago, offering 80% off of a stay from a giveaway I entered.  I told the man that I did not real entering any giveaways from them and frankly that I have, (had), no clue where Branson, Missouri is and why anyone would want to go there.  He then went to recite my address and e-mail back to me, much to my dismay.  He went on to tell me that I was more than welcome to think about it, and gave me some 800-number to call him back, (his name was Dave Brill).  I told him I'd talk to my husband and get back to him because right now we have no vacation plans seeing as we have two young children, (this is what I told him.)  I decided that it sounded too good to be true and quite odd, and after some research, found pages like this claiming it to be a scam, though none citing similar information to what they gave me.

I just got my first call. Did not answer. I want to know if they continue to call or stop. I did not sign up for ANY vacation package of any kind, ever.
