FYI, I also forgot one other thing. If you go on vacation and stay at a hotel or resort or go see any shows and they take your phone number down, they will sell these numbers to a third party to try and invite you back to the area. This is how they try to build on their tourism.

FYI, you do know that if you are on the AG's DNC list you must renew this every year. Once you sign up for it the subscription only lasts for one year. You also know that the government is going to start charging you to be on this list. They say it is getting to costly to maintain all these numbers.
2nd, If you fill in an enter to win form for anything and you put your phone number on it or you fill in a survey online with your phone number it voids your number being on the AG's DNC list. By doing either one of these things gives the person who owns those slips or survey permission to call you.
Just thought you would like to know.

It is very simple. If you fill in a enter to win or any survey online that is how they get your numbers. If you turn on a utility service, if you buy a home, this is how they get these numbers it is public information and anyone can access them.

a guy just called and said he worked for a to z company and my number was put in for a drawing then he asked where the city and state i lived in was I just hung up on him

Called, and gave some name. Then, offered me a vacation to Missouri. I asked: "Who?" he gave a different name and asked me if I would like to come to Missouri. It was not a child. It was a grown adult male. I want to know how he knew my name and my cell number.
