Just rec'd another call from the same number on one of our other extensions here in the office; male caller this time.  Please, someone stop these annoying calls!!!

Recorded message began:  "This is not a sales call."  Went on to say that crime had increased in my area . . .   I pressed1 and reached a young woman who asked "Am I speaking with the homeowner?"  I replied, "No, you are speaking with an employee at a hospital."  I tried to ask her to remove this number from her call list but she talked right over me and hung up.  Annoying!!!  I am very exasperated at having these calls interrupt me on my job!

Get this call everyday. I will not answer. If its important they will leave a message. They hang up up in 3 rings. Im on the do not call list. What can I do. very annoying

Dozens of calls from417-800-2376. Even with auto reject on my phone.

Called me 10 times during my lunch hour and shortly thereafter I finally picked up the phone but did not say anything and the lady on the other end said hello and my name! This is ridiculous!!

I've received numerous calls from 417-800-2346 (2356, 2317, etc etc) and I'm sick of it. So, I did some research and made several calls to the FCC. I've learned that the # belongs to Robert Baker and these telemarketing companies are his clients. In communication with Robert Baker, he offered to take me off the do not call list. I thus recommend reaching out to him personally, he can be reached at 563-508-9710.
My new plan is to call him everytime I get a call from these scammers, which has been on a weekly basis for 5 months.

I was getting 2-3 credit card scam calls a day.  Plus other assorted calls from telemarketers, charity solicitors, survey companies, etc.  I switched my phone service to Ooma which is a VOIP service.  They offer the ability to block numbers from calling you in the future.  The number of nuisance calls have decreased immensely.  I chose the option that gives the caller the number out of service message in hopes they would flag my number as out of service and stop calling.  It kinda works.  The bad news is I think they just continue calling from another number which I block, then another, etc.  I can block like 250 numbers.  I am up to 55 in the past couple of months.  I just keeping adding them to the blocked list.  I don't know which will happen first...they give up or I reach my 250 number max.  I suspect they will never quit. But the calls have diminished quite a bit.

Called an left message. Sounded like a scam to me. Deleted and blocked.

Caller ID displays OCC ECHOSYSTE and is likely a spoofed name.  It supposedly originates from Nevada, MO and has been part of an FTC investigation since 2008!!!

The nonsense from Elizabeth H is obviously some separate thing she may have against The CDA Law Center in CA.  It could be a seaparate scam with Bill Baskin, or whomever he really is, chiming in with his bull legalise and not so veiled threats on her.

Received call from this number for about the 20th time in a month. No message left. When I try to call the number it is always busy.

I got another phone call from these people. I refused to answer the phone. This is what the called ID said about the call.  V01081548010130 and this is the phone number from them 417-800-2317 they called on Jan. 8th 2013 at 3:48PM.

Not sure if a Class Action suit would work but this company can be overwhelmed with small claims law suits. If you have enough to pursue the company they can be sued each time for $500. If the court finds that they knew they were employing illegal sales tactics they can choose to award up to 3 times that amount. Can you imagine if they had to keep going to small claims for each call they made? I think it would be more damaging that they have to pay someone to be in court almost constantly and also keep writing those checks?

I am researching more information to take forward. They can not prove that they had a working relationship with me because they initiated the call that they recorded by illegal means. Not only that they didn't call the number requested and asked for someone that does not live in our residence.

People are responding with #s outside of the CDA Law Center business area because the #s are spoofed/falsified. We receive a call showing a fake caller ID which then after answering gives a recorded message about loan modifications. If you try to get a live person you recieve another recording asking for your name and number. Regardless of the number one gives  CDA Law Center will call back the# the machine originally called. I did not give a true name and requested they call a different #. There was no consent for them to call me back at my home #. They called back to my home # and asked for the falsified name given. This time the caller ID shows the correct phone # which I had called back to confirm the caller. The person that answered confirmed he was the person I had  just spoken to and remembered my voice.

There are plenty of complaints regarding CDA Law Centers making these calls and the service offered matches those offered on the company website.

Really, defamation and slander?  That's a pretty higher bar of proof,  Nevertheless, people may want to check the Better Business Bureau's assessment of CDA, maybe you can sue them.  Here's the link:

With all these complaints why doesn't the govt shut them down?  I get 2-3 calls from this credit card company too on my business line which none of my credit card companies actually have!

Just another one of the spoofed numbers currently being used by the "card services" scammers. Google my name if you are interested in how I have been able to mostly eliminate their annoying calls!

Haven't heard from Rachel of Card Services for a few months and thought I was finally free of her.  No such luck.  I never answer these calls and yet they persist.  And on we go...

I wish I could do more to help people. This site actually does a good job of informing people and letting them know the difference between a legit caller and a fraud. Glad to be here.
