three different telephone numbers come up for this pre-recorded message from 'card services'.....with no identity. these constant calls started around 9/2012 and so far, 3 different numbers pop up on my caller ID: all begin with 417-800. they end with 2296, 2323, and 2325.
i had registerd on the 'do not call registry' years ago and now did it again. we'll see if that makes any difference but reading peoples' notes indicates it does not.
thank God for caller ID!!

Just another of the spoofed numbers being used by the "card services" scammers.Google my name to see how to lessen or eliminate their calls, while having some fun!

The customer service number that Dexter gave me was 1-800-847-2911, which is VISA. When I called it I was directed to their fraud dept.

no idea who this company is affiliated with. probably no one. We dont have any accounts that they would be involved with for sure. Must just be a scam of some sort. it is just a recorded message. never specifies an actual credit card company.

I have been getting these calls sometimes a number of times a day for the last I don't know how long. When I either ask them to take me off of their list or to speak to a manager, they hang up on me. I finally reported them to the "Do Not Call Registry". This phone # & also 417-800-2333.
awake 2013-01-16 17:34:36 Unknown
You can sue them... or you can continue to call and harass your local politicians to light a fire under their a**** to do their job of serving the citizens. The do not call list is not funded... it is a placebo at best. My son and I both work odd hours and are awakened at least 6 times every day and yet "nobody" will do anything to help us. Our only options are to sue the telemarketer or harass your local police or politicians until they get tired of it. It is sinful how full of B.S. our government is with this do not call stuff. Good Luck!
Maggie 2013-01-16 15:21:53 Unknown
Yep....another scam. Please report to FCC and the Do not call list. They have to stop these calls.
john 2013-01-15 21:40:28 Unknown
after talking to the guy for 10 seconds he threatened to come get me... he called back three times from 321-332-9998
Richard 2013-01-15 21:25:18 Unknown
Just had same thing happen. Was your guy Dexter Livingston ID 1110???

Cardholder Services...Threatened me and my family because I refused to give him a credit card number to do an interest rate reduction.

Got this call a few minutes ago. Did not answer. First time as far as I know. I have caller id specifically for this reason. I get at least a dozen calls every day labeled unknown etc. I just don't answer unless it is someone i know or am expecting a call back.
Me 2013-01-15 17:26:02 Unknown
Still receiving these calls, showing "Card Services" on the caller ID. They give a number to push to opt out from future calls -- "Press 3." Yeah, sure. Sometimes I get these every day of the week, including Sunday mornings. I've blocked multiple numbers from this same place and they just use a different number. I'm running out of space to block numbers! I have an unlisted phone number, so they must be randomly dialing numbers. Arrrghhh! Apparently the Government stop WAS only temporary, although you can't prove it by me. These calls never stopped for me.

Yepper , missed a credit card payment and then I get this call.
really scary how much companies can access your credit report.
I hate telemarketers.
Buddy 2013-01-14 14:35:04 Unknown
They say it's a "spoofed" number. It's somehow hides the real number.
Blackie 2013-01-12 19:15:38 Unknown
Telemarketing swine.
anonymous 2013-01-12 17:34:49 Unknown
My guess is VOIP.

Yep, "Card Services" is up and running again! Just check you caller I.D., and don't waste your time trying to talk to them. If no one ever answers, there's no point in them making the calls. These scams are offshore, and the Government can't do anything.
Spirit 2013-01-12 16:48:31 Unknown
If the companies are offshore, how come they use onshore lines that take inbound calls? The obvious guess would be fraudulent outsourcing.
Buddy 2013-01-12 16:45:55 Telemarketer
Caller I.D. showed "Card Services" so I knew exactly what it was. Haven't had any of these calls for 6 months or so. I've reported these calls numerous time to our State Attorney General, always receive a nice response letter. They say that these companies are off-shore and not much can be done. So I figure for the next week or so, I'll pay close attention to the Caller I.D. again, then they'll go away for another 6 months.

QUIT CALLING ME!!!

Contact your US senator's office every time you get such a call and INSIST that they do everything they can to block the calls. If everybody who got such a robocall called their senator every time, I believe that there would finally be some action.

DO NOT CALL ME ANYMORE
IHaveARealJob 2013-01-09 21:56:09 Telemarketer
I continue to be harrassed by these people, in spite of going through their prompts to take me off of their list. Some ignorant b*atch hung up in my ear today when I asked her to take me off of the list. Do they honestly think I would ever buy their product? Not now. Not ever.
Payback 2013-01-09 21:38:56 Unknown
I know how to stop them. Armed mercenaries entering their boiler room rooms will show them Turd Service is history. The first reaction that will come out of them will be fear, and thats what I want them to have, fear, fear of calling people and trying to rip them off. They are already afraid of taking inbound calls. Bunch of lying weaklings.

I called the toll free FTC number to report 2 calls within a 45 minute period. I wasn't home, but it was on my caller ID.I tried calling the number. I couldn't reach anyone on 417-800-2317 or 2323. The FTC rep was very nice and recognized the "card services" company immediately. She said there were lots of complaints about them. So, it appears that the FTC has this company in it's sites. As consumers, the best thing we can do is report each call we get. It's aggravating, to say the least. It's better to do that than gripe about it!
darlene 2013-01-09 18:27:03 Unknown
please do not call me any more
Brigid 2013-01-08 22:08:31 Unknown
Do not answer your phone. Check caller ID and then check this website. If you answer you let them know you do live there. Just don't answer. Eventually they stop. I do this with all numbers I don't recognize. "Card services"is a new one and your first impulse is to answer. Just don't answer.....check them out first.
