That's a nice way to wast tax dollars. Let me guess when you called the police they came and went and nothing ever happened. $17,000,000,000,000+

I was receiving numerous calls and text a day from this number. I have blocked it from my phone.

Just do what we do, for the most annoying of pests, which at times really works very nicely?but you have to do with a real serious tone. Just answer the phone:
?FBI Cyber Scam division, Agent Rowland?
You?d be amazed at how fast they scramble to get off the phone at the other end!
| Al 2013-11-01 21:58:07 Unknown |
Hey "Big A", now you're talking. Allow me to join you in your quest! What is most damn annoying is AT&T and cell phone providers refuse to provide you a sizeable block list to append these obnoxious irritants into. After all they make money going both ways. Most of today's people have NO ethics. Just look at Obama and ALL of Congress!!!

I have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.

I've received numerous calls from 417-800-2346 (2356, 2317, etc etc) and I'm sick of it. So, I did some research and made several calls to the FCC. I've learned that the # belongs to Robert Baker and these telemarketing companies are his clients. In communication with Robert Baker, he offered to take me off the do not call list. I thus recommend reaching out to him personally, he can be reached at 563-508-9710.
My new plan is to call him everytime I get a call from these scammers, which has been on a weekly basis for 5 months.

Found out that the owner of 417-800-2346 belongs to Bobby Baker....he offered opportunity to be removed from the call list. His #: 563-508-9710

I started keeping records of when they called and what I did, e.g. pushed 2 to be removed. Then I emailed 3L Communications threatening to file small claims suit against them for failing to provide me a written copy of their do-not-call policy and for confusing to call after both phone and email requests for them to cease. They can be sued $500 each violation. Their agent of service is listed with State of Missouri. Amazingly, I received an immediate reply and have had no further calls.

Receive 2-3 calls per week for the past few months. My experience is similar to others. Thru investigating, I came upon some information as to who to contact with complaints. This # belongs to Robert Baker. I emailed him and he stated that this # belongs to one of his clients who 'offer services to businesses for Google Search rankings. ' He did not provide additional information. This is his business and his responsibility. Please contact him repeatedly to make sure his harassing calls stop!

Telemarketing SCAM regarding Google listing. Please report this number to the FTC at 888-382-1222, the FCC at 888-225-5322, the MO Public Services Commission at 573-751-3160 and your state Attorney General's Office.

If you call back a computer answers and gives some options. Pressing "2" will apparently remove you from their list (or put your number on the do not call list). Says it can take up to 48 hours to process. I have yet to understand why it takes so long to process a computerized request such as this. It's as bad with Email.

misrepresenting google to place you in top search.
A lot of idiots must fall for this scam because they keep calling for months.
LakeRat must be on drugs. He just makes up scenarios that only someone hallucinating can come up with.
Funny how he starts his post with "oK here's the deal" as if we should tune in because HE is going to say something valid.
most of the posts I have seen on here say basically the same as I wrote above, but the LakeRat dimwit makes something, then criticizes another poster for making fun of these clowns that call us.
The reason they seem to hang up is not because they made a buck off of you, it is their faulty system.
I smell a LakeRat.

I just got a call from this number as well. Not much I can do about a number from so far away.
I wanted to let you all know that at least in my area the police were helpful with a regional number that kept calling my business. Nothing about the business that I called the cops on seems legit, but at least they will not be calling me anymore. The police chief made the guy call me while he was standing right there in front of him. He gave me every excuse in the book for why his business repeatedly called me and there was never anyone on the line.
Problem solved

This number (or very similar) calls my work phone at least 3x/week. Has been for months. I have tried to follow prompts to remove my number from the list, but each time I select the number prompt for just that, I get disconnected. Very irritating.
