Boss comes into the boiler room and asks "Who wants an extra tab of meth"? "Shawnee" jumps up and down and says "me me me". Boss says, go out to 800 notes and lie for us, then get back to the boiler room right away.

"Shawnee" complies.

Nobody believes it. Boss was lying about that extra tab of meth anyway!

Whether you have dealt with BUZZ MARKETING and COMMUNICATONS or BRANSON VACATION and TRAVEL... There is NO SCAMS involved! The vacations that are sold are legitimate and NOT any kind of scam. Some people just cannot afford to take their families on vacations. Well. with a little 'help' from company's such as BVT,wonderful  memories are made and are shared !! As for the family that runs the operation...they are absolutley amazing people. They treat their employees with the utmost respect as if they were part of the family. I AM PROUD to say I once worked for them and hope to again someday!! Don't talk "s%^#@" about things you dont know!!!

I bought a package this summer from Branson Vacationland. I was very pleased with everyone that I spoke with and my family and I had a great time. We even extended our stay with the help of this company getting us extra nights at their rate. We did have to sit through a 90 minute presentation but I knew about this when they called. It of course wasn't my favorite part of our trip but it was only an hour and half. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to take their children on vacation and save money at the same time.

They are extremely rude if you try to call back and cancel.  They give you a 72 hr window to do that, but I took a look on line and at BBB and found so many negative reviews that I called back within the hour to cancel.  They put me on hold for over 10 minutes.  While holding I called from another line and was put on hold again - finally a receptionist answered.  When I told her I was frustrated and wanted to cancel she got extremely rude with me and hung up on me.  The whole operations is just a little shady!!!! I don't recommend doing business with them!

It is BUZZ MARKETING and they are legit, they are selling vacations for Branson Mo. at really packages low price for what you get. I am sure they have numerous phone people so you can expect some confusion in the background.

This is the owner of the company's son, Chris- again, he is in charge of the day-to-day operations and will tell you anything if he thinks it will get you to give him your credit card number.

I am a former employee. Chris Blacketer, the owners son, runs the day to day operations. They encourage lying about the 90 minute presentation and what is included in the package. I have even seen Chris talk a credit card number out of an old man whose dementia was so advanced he didnt even know what an expiration date does. Their man business plan is to buy leads for individuals that do not qualify for timeshare tours due to age or income, and then get them on recording agreeing to very vaguely worded terms tbat include being charge dfor the full price of the teip if they dont meet qualifications. They do it in such a sly way that people rarely catch it. They also claimed to have mailed my last check but it has never shown and I cant ge tthem to do anything. This has happened to other people I know as well. Do not do business with these theives!

Did you follow through with the trip to Branson?  Sat through a presentation?  If you did not buy in to a time share, did they try to charge you for the trip or cancel your trip/shows/meal???

This place is a joke!!!!! Seriously if you do your research you will find more than the whole Branson Vacation scam... I received a call from a young man named Dallas he was very nice but I told him I wanted to talk it over with my husband and check the rating with the BBB and attorney general well the more research I did the more concerned I became it was NOT looking good so I called the customer service number 877-230-5015 I had to try every extension several times before I reached anyone I finally spoke to a woman named Nolene at first she was I guess doing her job but the more I pryed for information the more rude she became I then asked to speak to Dallas or his supervisor Chris Black she then told me she was the owners wife and she was as high as I was going to go as she was hanging up on me she cursed me (calling me the b...h word) at this point I was extremely upset they called me! Obviously I was extremely curious as to what scam this was so more research to find out that this place is in fact part of Branson Vacation which I found out with all my research the number to them is 866-689-5672 I spoke to a girl named Kristie and of course she had a million excuses she went on to.blame someone at the customer service number whom I had never even heard of ( I later found out doesn't even work there) I told her who I had spoken to and she said she gets these complaints all the time but yes it is the owners wife that is why she has to put up with her!!! I was appaulled that everyone of them were so rude and discussing personal issues with a customer! Of course she was just as rude as the other lady but come to find out both companies are owned by a man named Frank Blacketer ( I found out on the BBB site ) so very interesting information on the Internet this man has had several different businesses which he has used to scam people out of money if anyone is interested I can post the links DO NOT BUY anything from these people they are con artist! And I would assume they are all family sense the "owners wife" answered one phone and the supervisor name was Chris Black? Very shady!

My Mother was called by this group and was convinced to purchase the package. She became concerned that it might be a scam that had only wanted her credit card after she had difficulty reaching them by phone and contacted her credit card company to freeze her account for future charges. Once she received the paper work, she tried several numbers adn eventually found a helpful woman and requested that her package be cancelled. She was initially told she should have made the request to cancel within 72 hours of the call (which according to her, she was not informed about during that call.)  Her request to cancel was withing 72 hours of receiving the paperwork AND learning that the program was extended to those up to 75 years old (she is 85!!)  She is awaiting an answer next week to see if the package will be be refunded, but it seems they are only interested in getting individuals to sign-up, regardless if they meet the stated criteria. I remain hopeful they will cancel the package since she is definitely NOT a candidate for a time-share!

I recieved a call from these people saying they were from Branson Vacationland.  I signed up for a check by phone and the next morning tried to call the customer service number back at 1-877-230-5015 and nobody ever picked up it goes to voice mail.  After looking this place up on the computer, I find that it is for selling time shares.  Nothing was said about this and then I tried to call reservations and they are only open Mon-Fri.  On this web page of 800 numbers, I see that many people have tried to call1-417-336-0553 another number that has been disconected. m The original # on our caller I.D. said1-800-242-9451.  When you call it back the operator tells you this call center is not a working number.  Seeing as I could not find any!!!!way to cancel, I went to my bank this morning and put a stop payment on my over the phone check from these people!  Do not use them! Scam, Scam, SCAM!

Shilling for the scam on 800notes is obviously a popular activity for the crooks working this scam. Funny how reputable businesses never have to pay shills to post this kind of crap, isn't it?

LOL I guess it means this site is working and tricking people on the phone isn't!

I bought a package with Branson Vacationland recently and made my reservations through Trisha. She was very helpful and sweet. She even accomodated me with a handicap condo at the last minute. Not many people would go through that kind of trouble for someone they have never met. If calling to make reservations, always ask for Trisha. She will take care of you!

Contact your credit card company, or whomever you used to pay for your package, and be prepared to give them the documentation of why and how you proceeded to cancel. For example-dates, contacts (phone attempts, emails), reasons, etc.

Talked to two different agents on the phone, after being called, who both promised me the same thing. Wanted to be sure that their was no time share or sales spiel that we had to listen to. Chrystal told me, "We don't own anything, so we don't have anything to sell!" And I questioned each of them repeatedly to be sure I understood the terms and what was being offered. I was to get an email after our call-did not receive it. So I called the customer service number that Chrystal had given me 877-230-5015. They have a girl that comes in to do those in the afternoon. (Big question mark) Called later after not receiving it-they were having problems with their emails. (Now I am really beginning to wonder, but things do happen)

Next day I did receive an email from someone not even identified from Branson Vacation Land, just a personal name, which ordinarily I do not open, but I was expecting this. This was written in Notepad with no greeting, just two or three lines strung out across the page spelling out what they were giving me, which was not what I had paid for.

What I paid for was a deluxe VIP pkg of 3 days/2 nights with choice of 20 hotels with eat-out breakfast; 4 show tickets of choice to ANY show in Branson; a $30 Dinner Ticket; and a Branson guest card. Her note said it included the correct number of nights with a choice of 15 hotels with NO eat-out breakfast; 4 show tickets from list provided; and rest being same.

I immediately called the Customer Service number but no one answered, so I left a message asking them to return my call, giving them my confirmation number.  Also emailed By Reply response. Have heard nothing.

A few days later I received a call wanting to know if I wished to scheduled my vacation dates, so I decided to fish for information to 'confirm' what package I had. She stated I do not have the VIP Deluxe package and we talked and I told her what had transpired. She suggested calling Customer Service but not leaving a voice mail, "because they never call you back". Just hang up and keep calling and eventually someone will answer. She said she has to report in daily and it usually takes her about an hour to get her call in. She did ask if we had received our packet in the mail and I told her no. Said I should receive it today.

Packet was received today and Attending a 90 Minute Presentation is Required to Receive this special offer. See above to see that I specifically asked about such!!!

The company  name on my charge card receipt is The Buzz Marketing And Communication, 1700 S Campbell Ave, Ste H, Springfield, MO 65807 417-832-0947

If you do want a reputable place to buy your Branson show tickets, lodging, etc., I have used Branson Tourism Center 800-524-0222 both this year and in years past, and they are always very helpful, friendly, and try to do the best they can for you.

I got the dead line trick with the computerized "goodbye" voice too. Called them back. The phone is answered "Biz Marketing". When the person answered she acted like she didn't hear me. I called them twice and the same person did the same thing. I am on the no-call list and plan to file a complaint with the info I have with the FTC. I suspect they are phishing for live home numbers to build a call list from.

Hey just wanted to let everyone know this company that is calling you is Buzz Marketing. They sell discounted vacation packages to Branson, MO. To be honest I don't think they have a very sharp group of people working in their office for them, probably why they just hang up.
