Get multiple calls from this number and I feel like im being harassed....no message is left. .

If you get any phone calls from St John's - now Mercy, their number starts with 417-820-  So do not answer this call back number of the 417-869-9700.

I have never been to St. Johns, I get calls constantly... If it bothers you and you have a droid, ADD the NUMBER to CONTACTS... under DO NOT ANSWER and then go to the contact and set preferences for it to never ring or go straight to voice mail. It will show when they call, but it will never ring and bother you again.

Got a call from 417-869-9700, oviously from a phone burner as there was dead air space and I answered 3 times before "Omar" stumbled through his script about Mercy Systems and wanting to verify my address prior to speaking with me. It was the wrong address and he asked to update my personal information. I told him that I will not share private information on the phone and he would not tell me what the call was regarding. Very annoying.

This number has called me repeatedly, but does not leave a message.  I answered the call yesterday and nobody was there.

It is st johns collections, not a scam

this number calls me when i have an appointment with St Johns so it is definately an St Johns number and not an scam

It is the St,John's Clinic's. They are just calling to trying to get you to preform a survey. Thanks! :)

P.S. All I did was called the number back and it was an automated system telling what they wanted.

This number called me and when I answered it was a pre-recorded man saying "...and being overweight can lead to a short lived life," and then they hung up. When I called back it was the same man recorded saying it was Patient Financial Services. I called 3 times to see what would happen, and it was the same man recorded whom always said "This is Patient Financial Services" but has some weird message afterward. I don't know what the hell this is about.

I received 4 calls from this number. When I answered she asked for me, I said "this is her" and she hung up.

I receive multiple calls from this number and they leave no message. I do not who they are and why they keep calling, but they call everyday sometimes up to 5 times.

I have received multiple calls from this number many days in a row.  It's on my cell phone and I've always missed it.  They always leave a message, but only of background noise, no talking.  I called back and spoke with someone and they told me "my number was triggered in error".  I haven't gone to St. John's in six years and told them I didn't appreciate being solicitated and told them to take my number off the their list.

I get a call from this number about once a day. They never leave a message, and I don't call the number back. I'd like to be able to block the number somehow.

I get this call on a regular basis, sometimes they leave a message and sometimes they don't. I have called them back and spoke with a lady who is doing collections for St.Johns. I do use St. Johns as well as work there. At first I thought it was a scam until I spoke with St. Johns businuess office and they did verify that it was a 3rd party collections agency. Once you have an outstanding balance for a certain amount of time they send it to a collections agency to collect the money. Even if you have set up payment arrangements sometimes they still get your information as a mistake and you just have to tell them you've already set up payment arrangements. For those of you that don't have anything to do with St. Johns...i don't know, it could be a misdial, or someones used you as a reference so they can get their money, or it is a collection agencyso they could be doing collections for another company.

I also got 3 calls from this number in 4 days and no voicemails have been left. St. John's numbers have always come up as 820- numbers in the past.

I got message from St. Johns Clinic. Boy I never been there!! I am shocked and how come they call me!! I will NOT answer them at all!!!!!!!!

They have called me for the past two days, but only let the phone ring once, then they hang up.  I don't even have a chance to answer!

I don't think its a scam. I owe St John's for some lab work. I read the comments here, and wasn't sure if this was legit. So I simply called St John's financial directly. One note, when you call they will ask if it a hospital or clinic bill. I guess they can't see both systems, so you may show a zero balance while talking to the hospital folks but get a reminder showing a bill from a clinic.
When I paid the bill, the calls stopped, so it probably is legit. When in doubt, call St John's yourself at their main number and tell them to connect you with somebody who can check your balance.

I was called by this number and when I answered a prerecorded message said it was St. Johns and gave me an 800 number to call. I didnt call it. I got another call this evening and noone responded when I answered the phone. I looked up the number online and it came up as a possible scam and to report it to St. Johns. I will call them and get it sorted out.

I got a call from this number this morning and they asked for me. When I said yes this is...they hung up. I called back to see who it was and what they wanted and it was Resolution Company. I just had a baby not long ago and was told to hold all of my bills until they all come in. That's what I was doing. They were calling to collect a payment for my baby's doctor. I had just gotten the payment last week. Completely insane if you ask me.

I have gotten one call per day for three days.  They even texted me a Merry Christmas message.  No answer when I answer to the calls.  Just breathing into the phone, and sounded like traffic noice as if someone was in a car or outside on a cordless.  I'm not calling them back, and I'm having my husband answer it next time.  Creeps.  If that note about where the call originated from is true, then it really is the armpit of town and he/she is right, no reputable business would operate out of that ghetto-fied area.

they have been calling me daily.  I finally answered one time and they said St. Johns and asked to verify my birthdate. When I questioned her, she said it was to verify that she was speaking to the correct person.  I told her that SHE called ME, so if I answered, then she probably has the right person.  I offered only to verify my address and when she verified it, in one long sentence, she said "That you for that information, and it appears that we have called you in error, thank you...."  I told her she had indeed called in error because I have no outstanding bills.  She just hung up.  Still calling daily, though....

Actually, I have found the folks there to be very helpful.  They helped me get charity on part of my balance and worked out a payment plan on the rest.  They are not bill collectors, they work as the extended businesss office for St. Johns Clinics.  If you're nice to them, they will be nice back to you.

The number belongs to AmCol -- a billing agency that St Johns outsources to.  I tracked it down by first calling the office number of the clinic I had last visited and speaking with their office manager.  She mentioned that St Johns does outsource and gave me the name of the business.  I called the number back, asked several questions, and this seemed to be the case.  Regardless of whether or not this is a scam, this number DOES belong to a BILL COLLECTOR -- and with such, do not give them any additional information.  They'll only use it to make your life more miserable.

I got a call or two from them last month asking me for  personal info saying they were from St Johns. So I called St John billing to see what the problem was. They told me they have no record of St John billing calling me. So IT IS A SCAM!!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH Them Call your St John Billing office and report them!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!!! ST You can pay your Doctor Bills at your Doctors office. If you have a problem your office will help you. This number is not a part of St Johns billing!!! Now they have called me twice today with no message??? St Johns always leaves a message. I know I deal with them all the time and they never ask me for my SS# They just check to see if your address has changed...Please report any call from this number to your personal St Johns Billing person!!!!!!!

They wanted to know if i could take care of some past balances with some of the st. johns dr.s that my daughter and i have seen.  When they started naming off what charges i had it was crazy.  I had paid everything the days i was in the office.  I work for St. Johns and the number is not one used by the hospital.  This has to be a scam.

I got a call from this number. When I called back, he asked me if my name was Lisa ----- when I said yes, I was told I was called in error & to disregard the call. Pretty sure it was St. Johns & not a scam.

I've been getting calls, with no messages, from this phone number for a couple of weeks. I have never been to St. Johns so I seriously doubt it's actually them! Be careful guys!
