It is Wyndham resorts calling to offer you special rates. They seem like they would be good deals BUT if you don't want to purchase any rooms, they keep calling as if they've never called before. I've told them to stop calling 4 times now. This next time I think I'm going to blow up on them.
Wyndham is a HUGE hotel chain.  They are the owners of Days Inns, super8's, tons more, I don't even know.

This number keeps calling us with no one speaking, just silence-it is annoying and I called today to have our name taken off their list-spoke with Nancy.  Thank you Nancy.

They called me today and offered a great deal on 4days 3nights at a 4 star hotel.....but what they dont tell you up front and not until they charge you for it is that you are required to attend a 90min time share tour once you are there. Not my kind of thing but if its for you then not a bad deal at all. Just beware.

They call me at least 3 times a day and I've called back multiple times asking for them to put me on the do not call list.  Apparently, the list doesn't exist because they keep calling.

I got a call from them.  I said if you're a telemarketer, we are on the Do Not Call list.  The lady proceeded to say she wasn't a telemarketer.  Yeah, right.  I tried asking how she got our number and said if we had stayed at any of the following hotels in the recent past they have our info (list of hotels... Super 8, Motel 6, I don't remember the rest).  That's bullcrap, because we have only had our number for 2 weeks since we've moved.  We have not given our number to anybody, so, again, like the other telemarketing calls I've been getting, Time Warner sold them our number!!

I come home and receive a call from 412-877-2602 the Wyndam Hotel. My number is unlisted and blocked. I don't understand how they can do this. Obviously, people need jobs so very bad they can call to harass people. Another wasted paycheck of our money.

Wyndham Vacations.  If you've stayed at ANY of the Wyndham Rewards group hotels, they have your information.  This includes:

Knights Inn
Amerihost Inn
Travelodge
Super 8
Baymont
Howard Johnson
Days Inn
Ramada
Wingate By Wyndham
Wyndham Resorts

I'm pretty sure it's a timeshare offer, since I told the woman upfront that I have no income, don't own my home, and am under the age of 28.  This disqualified me automatically.

Wyndham Vacations are slimballs, they call me relentlessly and have been doing so for like 8 months now, in spite of me telling them to stop.

I entered a sweepstakes at a mall and 3 weks later the calls started. The lesson here is don't enter sweepstakes because more often than not they're just ways for jerks to collect phone numbers for their high-pressure telemarketing business. And since you entered the sweepstakes, they technically "have business" with you, so the do not call registry doesn't apply to them. They're gaming the system.

I checked this # on "Who Called Us".  This is a scam.  A person called this number back, and said they were calling her because of a previous stay at a Wyndham resort.
She never vacationed at this resort, and when she asked questions, they hung up.

I happened to travel thru that area last week and used my charge card a few times (Branson). My guess is they immediately picked up on my name and address from that and am now getting these phone calls for the Wyndam Hotel?  I don't know how they got my info otherwise, the timing was just right.

I would GREATLY appreciate it if this number 417-877-2602/Wyndam Vacations would STOP calling.  They have called three times today to our place of business and each time the phone is answered they don't say anything.  Finally the third time I didn't say anything when answering the phone.  They said something and I told them to take the number off the list as it is a place of business.  They insisted to talk to someone else and would not just do as instructed.  Not professional at all.  Very rude and wanted to talk to my manager - well guess what - I am the manager!  Just take the number off the list - end of story!

I TALKED TO THIS COMPANY AND REGARDLESS IF YOU ARE THE ONE THAT STAYED AT ONE OF THEIR HOTELS, BOOKED A ROOM FOR SOMEONE ELSE THEY WILL CALL "SO THEY CAN SPOIL YOU ON A SPECIAL RETREAT" QUOTE FROM THE OPERATOR THAT I SPOKE TO, THEY WILL NOT REMOVE YOUR NAME EVEN WHEN YOU TELL THEM THAT YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS THAT THEY CALLED, AND THAT YOU CAN NOT RECEIVE CALLS ON A BUSINESS PHONE. BUT THEY WILL OFFER THIS SPECIAL TREAT TO YOU.

That's not necessarily the case that Time-Warner sold your number.  It's entirely possible, as in my case, that you just got a recycled number and the last person who owned the number either stayed at one of those motels or gave out the number.  And then they probably started getting deluged with these calls, and that's the reason they changed their number.  I know most of the telemarketing and collection calls I'm getting are asking for someone else's name, so I'm assuming that's the case in my situation...

Received a call from them this morning.  Actually got a human voice on the other end after waiting a few seconds.  Asked for someone else, probably the previous owner of my current phone number.  I told her that the individual wasn't at this number any longer.  She asked for my name, I told her I wasn't giving out that information.  She told me they were offering great vacation deals, and I told her I was not interested.  She signed off pleasantly enough.  One of the actual nicer telemarketing calls I've received recently, even though it did eat up a couple minutes of my prepaid phone time.

I just got a call on my cell phone from them and it was in reference to a Howard Johnson that I stayed in a few months ago. They are offering a hotel stay in return for you sitting through a timeshare presentation. According to him, "the days of high pressure sales tactics are over." He was very smooth and had a quick answer for every objection.

I just called the number back, 417--877-2604 and a man answered and said that I had stayed at a Super 8 last year. I asked for them to stop calling 4 times a day. He said he would put me on the Do Not Call List, it would take 30 days to get my name on that list, there are 3 lists. Asked if he could send me a letter saying he took me off. I said NO, I do not want my address on 3 lists. I was firm and he accepted it. We'll see if they keep calling after 30 days.

The problem is that Wyndham just acquired some other franchises and travel agencies.  They used the contact data from those to show an "established relationship".

Yeah, they're calling me too --- but I'd received an email a few months ago that an agency I'd used once had "become Wyndham".... bleh.

No money or time for these twits....

They use a range of numbers 141787726XX .

They called me also, if you have ever stayed at a Super8 or equivelant they will call you.. I called to the motel I stayed at to confirm the relationship and they said yes Wyndham recently bought out Syndham(Spelling??), the previous chain that owned Super8

I agree very pushy sales people sound like a good deal but I will keep checking this was my first online stop!
