I agree with you.  I don't answer calls from unidentified callers.  I jot down the number & look it up here & 99% of the time it's a telemarketer.  No point reporting it to the do-not-call list as they want too much information, information you can't supply if you don't talk to the telemarketer - what a joke.  We should be able to identify just the numbers & THEY can sort it out, esp if they get many complaints abut that same number.  They web site is designed to discourage ppl from using it... typical........

Got a call in ON this evening. Was on a call, so saw it on call waiting.

I received a call from this number and it said that I had won a cruise for entering a contest through shaw cable.  I certainly don't remember entering any contest with shaw cable.

I never answer any call that is, Private, unknown, 1-800 #'s and now 418 #'s.  In fact I never answer anything that doesn't have the persons name and # showing up.  I too am on the Do Not Call List.  Get more calls than ever before.  The DNCList is a total farce.  The RTC should be fined for every call that bugs me.

the message was about the interest rate on my credit cards.  I pressed 1 to speak to a person and the first question I asked is where are you calling from and he hung up.  i tried the number back and it said it was out of service.  why is this allowed

I got a call from this very number.  Actually, this very well educated sounding man asked if Mr and Mrs Jones were home, I told him he had the wrong number. Just as I was about to hang up, he said 'well, we may as well talk to you as we'll be eventually calling you...and they asked who I was and I told him. He was asking for a donation of $200, towards the PC government - told him I didn't have it. Then he asked for $50 and told them again, that Christmas just got over and not too many people would have cash, and I am one of them. Then, he asked if I'd give them $5.00 to become a PC member and that this is all I need to be a member of the PC g'ment.  I hate politics and I should have just hung up.
Was telling my daughter about it the other day and she looked up this number online..only to find that these guys were involved in a scam.  I phoned my credit card company and told them about it...so they immediately stopped payment from that card, and a new one is being issued for me.  For only $5.00, man, I was stupid enough to give them my credit card number!  Anyway, they hadn't taken it out yet and they cancelled my card.  So, please, DO be careful, and don't take the call from that 418 number.  I SO hope they'll be found and get the punishment that's due them, and I don't mean just doing some community service....but jail time and have them pay back every cent to the ones who were robbed from them.  They are thieves!!  Beware people!!

Received the call several times also.  We do not have a credit card, got tired of paying interest and fees.  I too am weary of this foolishness; I am now going to the "Do Not Call List" and reporting them.  Any one care to join me?  :o)

This particular group of scammers are calling from the mountains of Qubec, where the population is 0.Anybody getting a call from 418-231-4181 ,needs to report them immediately. The authorities can't do their job without the right info.

Called during dinner.  I hung up and have permanently forwarded this number (through my Primus Concierge service) to ring at the switchboard of CBC Marketplace, 1-866-306-4636.

I've had two calls today from them from different numbers.  I press 1.  The person says something to the effect of, I understand you're interested in lowering your credit card interest rates.  I say, no.  I'm interested in having you stop calling.  Before I get the last word out, the person has hung up on me.  I'm on the DNCR, so let's just see if it actually works.

Redialed the no. to see if anyone would answer and was told the no. was no longer in service

I am sick and tired of these daily calls. I am on a national do not call list and still get calls. I wish I could talk to these people and tell them I will sue for harassment if they continue to call

Tape-recorded voice of "Ashely" from Cardholder Services called around noon today. No chance to ask any questions as it was a recording.  Are these "robocalls" allowed in Canada?

Answered the call from 4182314181 and explained where the receiver would go if they call again.  Enough of this anonymous calling with a Tel listed as out of service... Hello CRTC??? WTF are you overpaid clowns doing?   This is the s*** you need to deal with not whats on the TV tonite...

Just called here in nb. We ignored it.

Called here in NS.  "Michelle" said she was with "Associated Services".  When I asked more questions about who she was and who she was with she hung up on me.  This is the third time I've had a similar issue.

I usually ignore this caller but picked up to ask them to take us off their list.  Caller (woman) was rude and hung up on me.  Wanted to lower interest rates on my credit card.

called at about 645p, seems they didn't like the sound of a mans voice so they hung up

Received a call from this number today as well.When i picked up the phone their was no one their and they left no message.I blocked that number by using star 60 on my phone.I just putting a payment on my credit card today.

did not answer.  I figured it was some frigging company bothering us again..........I agree they should pay fines for bothering people.......... Don't they understand that you are not interested in any of these calls..........What does it take to stop these pita from calling..................
