I just got a call on my cell from the same number.

Just leave me alone. Apparently cell phones are not "compatible" with the Do Not Call List.  Big freakin' surprise there...

I got a call and requested a supervisor.  The sales person said there was no supervisor.  I said I am on the DNC list and you are violating FCC law. (I made that up.) He said "Ma'am this IS the FCC".  I said "You are claiming to be from the FCC?" and the man said "yes".  That is ridiculous.  Then he asked me if I had hummingbirds in my back yard.  Nutty.

I just got a call from this number which was the same recording as the one I received from 828-581-9705. The best thing to do is to file a complaint with the Federal Do Not Call website:

Card Services. I got a guy named Tony and then I proceeded to frustrate the heck out of him. He asked how much I owe and I said I would have to look it up. He kept trying to have me give him a "Ball park" figure but I kept saying I needed to look it up. He got more frustrated and started talking faster and louder.
He eventually got so mad he hung up. I look forward to the next call.

I had reported this company to the Washington State Attorney General's office, and I received a phone call back from them yesterday. The company is located outside the US and uses computers to spoof their phone number. It appears as though the call is coming from somewhere in the US, but it's not.

The AG lady said that there is nothing anyone can do at this point because the crooks are outside the US. The best thing to do is to just hang up and DO NOT press any numbers, even the one that says they will put you on a do-not-call list. Pressing any number tells the computer that yours is a real phone number and they will continue calling you. They will probably also sell your number to other companies.

Remember, just hang up and DO NOT PRESS ANY NUMBERS. She said eventually they will stop calling.

Same problem; I pressed one and they asked if I pressed one to get lower credit card rates.  I said no I want my number removed and this is the 2nd request plus a complaint to FCC.  The woman hung up on me.

Debt rate reduction call.  When I asked to be removed from the calling list, the rep hung up.

Automated talking about your credit card if you have a balance of at least $3000.00 you can lower your interest rate. Please push 1 to speak to a representive. I did, and ask to be removed from their calling list, immediatly the Rep hung up on me.

someone call me today but did not pick up, thanks you guy's for the post will never pick a call from this number.

Receives a call on my cell but didn't take it.  No message left on voice mail.

I think you can block their number on your cell so they cannot get through, That is what I am trying. check your phone instructions on how to block a number, or call your cell phone carrier and ask them how to block it.

I had to block the number on my phone. I hope this will stop them from bieng able to get a call through, If I have to bolck thewe sorry fraudulent numbers one at a time I will try to. you will probably have to find how to block them on your phone.

These people have been calling my phone from different numbers for months. Polite or impolite as I am when I request for them to stop calling me, they continue.

These websites would be even more beneficial if they just provided the link to the Do Not Call Complaint website.

If everyone (that has already registered with the Do Not Call list) that is posting on these types of websites would report these telemarketers, they would have charges filed on them and most likely be shut down. It would also send a message to other scammers!

Just got a call from this number.  I did not answer as this is the second call from this area code.  No message was left.

Old recorded "Rachel" is working overtime today - heard from her once on home phone, then later, from a different caller id #, on cell phone.  Obvious junk call-I keep reporting her to the DoNotCall Registry, but she just keeps popping up from a different number.

Got this call on Sunday morning on my landline and again on my cell phone this afternoon. Must be a credit leak to have both my numbers? ( both are also on the do not call list!)

Called my cell phone, but were silent when i answered.  Did not leave a voicemail.  I am also on the do not call list.  Wish there were a way to put these kind of folks out of business.

Press 1 to reduce credit card, I pressed 1 and then call disconnected.  They have called before, this is the first time I answered.

I got a call from this number at 2:30 local time. I ignored it.

"Cardholder Services", "special credit card offer", "your eligibility will expire soon!"

Ie, complete scam.  Block, ignore, or yell at the scammers as you see fit.

I am on the National Do Not Call, received several phone calls on my cell from this number. When I answer, there is a long pause (20-30sec) then someone says, "hello". When I say I received a call from this number, they ask who I am. When I say, well, you called me, may I ask who you are, they hang up. No messages when I don't answer. No answer when I call the number back.
