Calling my cell phone.  Called back and the name of Sypron something.  Didn't leave a message.  I want to know who is selling my cell phone number.

They called my cell today.  I didn't answer it.  I researched the number and other people are saying it's a scammer trying to get credit card information.  NOBODY should have my cell number except my family, so it's probably computer generated dialing.

I got a text from an unknown number that read: "St. Vrain Valley Credit Union Alert: Your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 303-747-6333 to REACTIVATE your card."
I knew off the bat it was a scam, but I called the number anyway to hear what the automated teller said which went something like this: "Thank you for calling (there was no 'the') credit union center. For card activation press 1. To change you personal identification number press 2. To end this call press the pound key."
It would repeat a second time until hanging up.

Call came in at 3:54 AM. Way too damn early for a scam call.

i got a phone call from this number at 2:51am.  I didn't answer because it said Spherion on it. I was not happy. We have a new baby and it woke her up.  Since reading the other reports it makes me even more upset that it was a scam phone call.

This number called my house aid it was Ashland Credit Union and that my card had been cancelled and if I wanted to get it reactiviated to put in the number of card by phone.  i do not have money with this company and why were they calling me.

I got a call from 419-516-4476 late last night.  I have nothing to do with them either.  I smell a scam in the making.

My call from 419-516-4476 came at 3:50am this morning.  Didn't answer!!!
Who the hell calls at this time???

I got the same call from 419-516-4476. "Your credit card has declined. Enter your credit card number to get it reactivate.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!

I received a call at 9:30 pm from automated voice saying you account has been deactivated and press 1 to reactivate and be connected to security. After pressing 1 I was disconnected. I already new it was a scam but was interested in gaining info on the scammer in hopes of tracing the call. I will await another attempt.

I live in Colorado and received two automated calls from 419-516-4476, the first in the daytime giving a recording about the St. Vrain Credit Union credit card and then hanging up, the second time past 11:30 at night but the call was disconnected just as I answered it. (I *69'd the number.)

We have both an unlisted and a no-call number. While we once had an account with that credit union, decades ago, we have no credit card or business with them now.

This is a malicious phone scam.

I recieved a call at 6:04 PM from 419-516-4476, that is an Ohio area code, I live in Colorado.  The automated caller said that our credit card was deactivated and to hit 1 to activate.  We have a St.Vrain Credit Union in our area, but we are not a member.  I called the number back and the automated system says they are Spyron of Lyghmont or something to that effect.  No operator to answer only ext.

I received a call on Saturday, 9/20/08, at 6:10AM. The automated caller identified itself as the St. Vrain Valley Credit Untion and it requested that I activate my credit card. I live in one of the communities served by this credit union, but I do not have an account.  I immediately hung up because I expected that it was a scam.  I also received an automated call last Saturday morning at approximately the same time with the same message, and I also immediately hung up.  Beware!!!

They said they were the St. Vrain Valley credit union (St. Vrain is a common local name) and we needed to call them about our account. We have no account with them and they called at 6:14 am on a Saturday morning! I am p*****! Who are these people and how do we get them to stop!

It was a recorded message from my bank when I called back they said that was a scam. Be careful!
