Are these clowns still in business? I would have thought that they would all be in jail by now.

CRB is a division of R and R Advertising in Las Vegas, a firm that represents Boeing and the Department of Defense.

My husband and I are trying to fix up our credit so we can get a mortgage and these crooks are trying to say they are going to put an $80 charge on our credit rating. Neither of us has ever heard of the Lalibco that apparently he used but was a fraudulent charge on his credit card. I was home when these charges supposedly happened, I KNOW he did not use this site! They told him that his IP was with it and that it traces back to our exact address... how would she know we use a box number and we didn't give them ANY extra info. They claimed to be sending proof, but nothing has been sent. He was sent a second letter and when he called they said we had to file for identity theft using the form they sent, they never sent any form, and it was already investigated and determined fraud by our credit card company. These people need to find themselves a legitimate line of work and quit buying chargebacks of fraudulant transactions... there has to be a law against it after all it stems from credit card FRAUD!!

They cannot do something to your credit if it is a scam.  If you call them and give them all your personal info then boom, they just did something to your credit!

So can these people do anything to your credit report or not? I recived a small claim letter on a chargeback they say I owe  from the paul snyder guy. I started to call the number provided but dont want them to have my information.

I live in Quebec, Canada and the law here says I should be treated in French. More, always according the law here, they work for a company that I was already stolen $ 165. The next step - I will inform the Financial Section of the Royal gendermerie.

Received a letter from CRB stating our account balance has been placed for collection action by Standard Events and that we owed $74.95 immediately.  Options for payment were listed. Having never heard of Standard Events before and not aware of any outstanding balances, I phoned for the letter signee, Paul Snyder, and got, instead, Sid Greenberg. He was very pleasant and said to ignore the letter because they had a "bad import" error on their end and that we did not own any money. He added that they have been very busy fielding phone calls from people like me because of the error. Based on what I've read on this site, I will save the letter along with my notes in case this ever comes around again.

I havent received calls to my knowledge (I normally won't answer unknown out of state calls on my cell) and it is also on the do not call list.  I did, however, receive letter today (Paul Snider/CRB) ,stating Standard Events as creditor for $129.90 of which I have no history with.  Since it is a weekend the first thing I did was look them up and found this site.  Thanks for the heads up!

Well, well, well. Google "Standard Events", and the collection company CRB comes up.....I have received up to three calls per week from these people. They claim that my credit card number expired, which it did, and how they got my card number is beyond me. The callers claimed that they represented Sirius XM radio, which they certainly do not. I learned this by an agitated call I wound up making to Sirius XM customer service, and they never heard of CRB, and the account number wasn't even close to my Sirius XM account number. My take is that these account numbers are CRB's. And yes, I did trace the area code, and "northern Ohio" came up.

I returned the last voicemail call to CRB, and left a very specific message after hours to A. stop calling me, B. I am closing my Visa account, and C. that I called Sirius XM radio to tip them off.

By coincidence, today I received a collection letter from CRB, signed by Paul Snyder, claiming I owe Standard Events $94.26. This is a completely bogus attempt to get my new credit card information, plus my signature. Can we say "identity theft, boys and girls?" That's what this is. I called my bank after the last call, reported this fraud in detail, and closed the credit card account, and they reviewed all my charges, thankfully none were related to either CRB or Standard Events.

This is a scam and rippoff. Blatant, bold, and Paul Snyder, the joke's gonna be on you.

Sue me. See what happens. I have no problem reporting this scumbag to my state attorney general's office. I will also be contacting LifeLock to report this.

Keep up the vigilance, fellow citizens, these people belong behind bars, no bail or parole, and I'd like to see all their assets seized for good measure.

Okay first off let me say this, they called twice today, I didn't answer the first call until I did some research about this Number so finally once I gathered all the info I could about this company I then received another call from them, it was an automated voice stating the name of the person they were trying to contact then gave the persons account number and told me to press 0 to talk to someone or return the call later and gave me the phone number 419-517-0064.

SOOO I called this damn number back to find out what the f*** was going on here.
so HE answered the phone and I confronted HIM about the call that I JUST received from HIS number, and he had no idea what the hell I was talking about and then told me that I must have had the wrong number and that number was his cell phone.
ALSO to clear things Up it has to be a toll free number because I DO NOT have long distance on my home phone meaning that if I did call and it was someones mobile phone I wouldn't be able to call them because I don't have long distance calling privileges with my phone service provider.

Something isn't right here... seems a bit fishy to me. very weird s***.. just thought id let you guys know about this. Just DO NOT trust these people.

I got a call from these people. When I called them back they were saying something about charges for sex phone service about 3 different times. And then when I told her all contact must be done in writing, she asked why? And then said oh we're gonna report this on your credit. And hung up on me. I have no idea who these people are.

Got a call this today.  It was a recorded message stating something about "your account <#>" but without any details of the nature of the supposed account (which # means nothing to me) or who was calling; the recording instructed me to call 419-517-0064, which was the calling number according to *69 caller-ID.  Of course, I did not call.

I'm amazed that there seems to be SOOO much trouble with this bogus calling company for SOOO long -the posts here begin in, when, 2008, THREE YEARS ago--, and yet the problems continue without redress!?  Surely, even Republicans want to regulate (and here, prosecute) such abuse as this!

Got a call today 9/16/11 acting like they were a debt colletion company, asking for money owed on what was a proven fraud charge in the first place a while back, . Ask to speak to a supervisor and got some lame answer that only one other person in the room. . As was stated in previous posts, they indicated that need to file a police report. She went by the name "Ms Tate". Also said they just sent me a letter. In my caller id, it shonwed as something like Oak Finance Co, or something like that.

"Your payment agreement **** for 1 month PLATINUM membership will be cancelled in 28 days, and no further payments will be taken from your card since then. Your paid membership will remain active until the 2011.08.10."

Was the email that adultcrowd.com sent that I can verify. . Disputed the second charge charge with credit card company and won. Got a call from crb 419-517-0061 9/8/2011 saying they would send to collections. Could not even get my name right and refused to give their address.. Will be contacting the FTC and other government agencies. I actually have credit insurance and if they are dumb enough to report a fraudulent auto charge from adultcrowd.com when I have an email traced to adultcrowd.com I am going to sue both CRB and adultcrpwd.com as my lawyers are already paid for. Will be reporting to ftc. Will be posting on boards. I have the email.t. adultcrowd.com was not authorized to charge. CRB is not allowed to contact me. I just got a call from cbr>? stating that I owe some company I signed up for  "'discounts" thru my email address on meds! Now why on earth would I do that when I am on medicaid and have stage 4 cancer ?And dont buy over the net. The ""lady"" putting that term as polite as I can haha  was so rude to me I had to take my heart medicine. Received message on 8/19/10 saying to call them for a debit collection issue. Phone showed private caller, they left a recorded message to call them back. Just received a collection letter in the mail. Orginal Creditor Standard Services who I have never heard of for the amount of $63.20 I have excellent credit rating and will not respond to this company. I am going to file complaint with the Attorney Gereral's Office and local police Dept and contact our local TV station's as they will broadcast a warning on scams.  Hope they get caught soon as there is enough grief in this world with out putting up with scum sucker low lifes like them.

I got a call Saying that  I have a late payment that has to be settled.  Do not know the amount he he left a message.  I would really like to burn these guys, any ideas?
o Ask them for a mail address so I send the a payment by cashiers check and send the address to the police?
0 Send them dog crap in the envelope and tell them to enjoy?tuen
o Ask them to send me 200 dollars cash  to show good faith and I PROMISE I will include their money with the payment? (right)

I didn't answer the call, but they left a message requesting that i call them back at the number 419-517-0064. The recording said "please call me" and at the end it said "thank you, and good bye". I have recieved calls from collection agencies. These are not normal things they say. They also usually include their normal business hours.
