I installed a call blocker on my cell phone. I put this number on my block list and now the calls to not get through. The phone just hangs up on them.

This is not the only reason they call. They also call if your number used to belong to someone this company has, or is, dealng with. I get calls every week for someone who used to have my phone number. I have told them this number no longer belongs to that person but they continue to call.

Same here. My spouse had a CPAP machine that did not do the trick and that we returned to Apria. They had charged the monthly billing to a credit card through autopay, but after we returned the machine they insisted that we owed $90 deductible for this year. I paid that, then got another bill for about the same amount, so I called their automated billing number only to find that any recent payments would not be reflected for weeks. Keep in mind that these bills never have enough information about services performed or equipment rented, so there is no way to tell what has been paid for and what has not. I suppose they are calling because they haven't received any payment for the second bill, but they haven't left any messages, so why would anyone call back? If they are wrong, they will be sorry, because we will make a complaint to the employer and to the company that administers our insurance policy, and, thanks to all of you, we can say that many others have complaints that can be viewed online.

I just got a new cell phone in January for my job and have had 419-628-749 call no less than 11 times, 8 times in the last three weeks. They never left a message. I checked the # and found this posting about it. I finally called the number back and it was for Apria Health Care. I dialed 6 after listening to the listed options and spoke with someone regarding removing of my number from their database, as clearly the person they are looking for no longer has it. Hopefully, the number will be removed and no more calls will come, not that I ever answered them anyways.

Relentless number of phone calls but when I answer, no one is there.

My wife gets CPAP supplies from them. They keep calling & saying there's a problem with the credit card they have on file with them. We have NO CREDIT CARD on file with them. Our insurance pays 100 % of the cost!

They would ONLY call if you have a CPAP machine or other home health service. They call to update insurance and account information. This is NOT a telemarketing call. Just answer and get your account information corrected.

Calls every day around the same time. There is never anyone on the line. What is the purpose of the phone call?
| BOB 2013-11-07 14:28:14 Unknown |
I called these fools back. After 6 1/2 minutes of automated answering Hell, I finally reached a human. I demanded they NEVER, ever, ever call me again. I took the name of the operator and advised her that I will sue her PERSONALLY if I ever receive another call.

I have had the same problems with Apria for over 2 years. I just told them to come pick up the equipment and they say I have to have a doctors order for them to pick it up.

APRIA IS THE WORST COMPANY to deal with. I switched insurance a few years ago and Apria was the only oxygen provider that they had. I have had nothing but problems with them. Every few months I'll get bills for anywhere from $35 to $1000 and every couple months I have to gather all my paper work and re send it to prove I paid for the months they are trying to recollect on.
I reported them and the collection agency to the better business bureau twice. This makes them get the billing squared away until next time.

I have gotten no less than 8 calls in the last 10 minutes. I'm at work and my cellphone is blowing up! I guess Aetna finally got the billing finalized after 4 months and now has applied hundreds of dollars to my deductible and so I suddenly owe. Might be nice to get a bill or a statement. I told them I am on the DO NOT Call List and I'll sue them for the money to pay the bill.

I received calls from India saying I owed $548.00, Then I get a bill for that amount from Apria showing that I owed them that amount since March of 2012.....I had received one bill in November saying I owed $141.00 so I paid it, in January 2013 I received a check from Apria for $141.00 and they said I didn't owe them any money..... Now they have turned me over to a collection agency for half of the $548.00. they are a bunch of idiots at Apria...

This is Apria. I haven't had any services from them for over two years, but they kept charging my insurance! Now they say I owe them, but I really don't. They're crooks. Don't ever get anything from them.
| Robin 2013-06-11 01:39:07 Unknown |
They call and it's a foriegn person and asking for my health history, you can't understand what he's saying but that's all I got out of it and I'm not giving out information over the phone!

I have received calls from Apria from number: 4196287049 on my UNLISTED cell phone that is on the DO NOT CALL list. They are asking for Moses. I have informed them that I do not known anyone by the name of Moses, but they continue to call using up my minutes. I have already reported several times to the FTC. I have never dealt with Apria and have no outstanding medical bills.

So i got a call from this number today. It was mentioning about some lawsuit over some prescription drug which i really have ahuge grudge against street drugs and prescription drugs. The next thing afterwords i hung up the phone afterwords! After i got watching The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey on dvd I found it was a scam, and somebody tried getting my email address which i had a problem with a computer hacker since janurary and now again today. A couple hours later at work i found out that the call came from Nigeria and I think the problem is that those people are trying to run a black market. I have had this problem since the holiday season last year when they wanted my social security information and i said no your not getting nothing. So while i found out somebody tried getting my information i ended up changing my password so i don't get cornhold. So in conclusion i will say this. If i ever get another call from these people again, I will tell the state attorney general and the news media next time!

It's Apria Healthcare. It's robo-dialing. When I pick up, it says, "Hold for Apria Healthcare" then the call ends. I get a call at least once a day. No idea why.

I also had an issue with Apria. They never sent us a bill, so I assumed our insurance covered it. A year after returning our equipment they called and said we had an outstanding bill. I told them we never received a bill and that we were never contacted by our insurance saying they had received claims from the company. The lady pretty much told me that wasn't her fault and we still needed to pay it...over the phone! I'm sorry, but if I haven't seen a bill for something, I am not going to give my info out over the phone.

My doctor ordered oxygen at night for me around the first of the year. When Apria delivered the supplies and concentrator, I asked if there was any charge to me and was told ABSOLUTELY NOT, it was all covered by Medicare and my secondary insurance. In February, I got a bill from April for several months' co-pays and I called April. The lady said it was a mistake and to disregard the bill. Later this year, I received another bill from April for co-pays. I told them about the previous call and this woman INSISTED that I DO owe the money. I told her I had a letter from Medicare saying I do not owe it and also a letter from BC/BC federal saying I am NOT obligated to pay the bill. The woman then asked for a credit card number to put on my records for this bill and FUTURE bills!!! What nerve! I told her to get the bill straight or come get the equipment. Now, I am receiving harassing phone calls from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. The recording says to wait for the next available operator and then hangs up on me. They call me and tell me to hold and then hang up. Day in and day out. Also, one technician said just to wash the nasal canullas and not change them every two weeks. Also, I had to ask for the humidifyer for the machine and then ask for a water trap because none of these things were offered or given without my complaint.

I returned from overseas deployment in the desert with several medical issues. For one issue, my USAF healthcare providers contracted with Apria Health Care for a CPAP (supposedly bought and payed for). My billing was NOT done thru the military Tri-Care insurance (managed by Humana HealthCare) but thru Humana HealthCare System's WOUNDED WARRIOR program. I received bills from Apria, which I had to forward to WOUNDED WARRIOR division every time in order to get paid as Apria was incorrectly billing. HHCS informed me to disregard the Apria billing as Apria had been sent a letter informing them of the correct billing procedures and to STOP billing the patient (ME). I guess Apria can't read English either. The phone calls come all the time demanding patient payment for government contracted services for which they have been instructed on how to properly submit. I did answer ONE call and got a pigeon-english speaking, offshore, outsourced rep who understood NOTHING I said and just hung up after explaining that Apria was incorrectly billing me. NOTE: Apria was double billing both me AND Humana WOUNDED WARRIOR!

They are the worst company. I begged the for months to come get that machine. Because instead of it being $27 a month it was bill $127 so by the time they came my bill was like $500+ because they finally said they could not pick it up until the doctor released me. Really, I'm paying for this not the doctor. Seriously dislike this company.
