got a call from 419-632-2041 talking about they saw my resume on Monster. The company was  Bankers Life.

where is the call from?

I believe it is on monster. About a week after I posted my nursing resume on monster I started getting calls from this number. It is always some woman with an Indian accent. The only words I can make out are resume and insurance in most of the voicemails. I just assume it is a scam, so I never call back.

They PLAY GAMES on the phone and with e-mail, acting as if you had already talked to them or as if you had sent them a resume.  They have called and e-mailed many times.  My guess is that they may buy numbers from CareerBuilder or Monster.

My take is that if they have to go to such lengths to almost TRICK people into interviewing something STINKS.  They aren't doing anything illegal or necessarily illegitimate.  BUT if they are using cold call tactics like this just to get you in to interview, what levels do they expect "managers" to sink to in order to make sales?

I got a call from these guys. Just looks like another crappy insurance sales gig. They have offices all over the country but this particular call is from the newly opened Toledo, OH office.

its from Bankers Life and Casualty Company about a job. I answered this call n they wanted to set up an interview but its not in my career path so im a little hesitant. how many pple get a call from this number?
