AND I currently have saved 19 of these numbers - ALL totally different AND from different parts of the country.  They ALL are 'disconnected' numbers!!!!!

Wish I had an Air Horn to blast them with!!!!!!!!!

I continue to get calls from ALL over the country.  They are coming at home and on my cell number.  I am SO sick of it.  I can 'google' ANY of the numbers and it takes me back to basically feeds just like this.  I look up the DoNotCall.gov information to 'add my name' again and I got an email that said this ???

SOOOOO - I decided to look to see how to do this online and I found this page the FTC.gov site.  I then CALLED the number that was listed in option #7.  Feel free to look this up yourself.

I still don't know if I'm OFF that calling list - but I really didn't know what else to do.  I am just sick of the same people calling from all these different numbers to try to sell me a Home Security System!!!!  And I can tell you that AT&T Wireless and my home Insight Phone service were NO help!!!!  And I mean NO HELP!!!!!

If anybody knows what else to try - I'm willing.  They aren't calling cuz I have bills to pay.  They want to sell me something I already have.  And the numbers I call back ALL say they are a # that has been disconnected.  So, I want to know HOW they are doing that too!!!

Alarm telemarketing scam...

I have just answered and put the phone mouth piece next to an on the air radio station (talk radio), for say about 5 or 10 minutes.  Not sure if that would stop it, but at least your fighting back.

Just got the call.  I just hanged up on them before that had any chance.

my phone id's this number as a cell number.  I get calls from this number at lease once a day over the last several months.  what do I do to stop these annoying calls.

Caller called showed wireless call no message left. So much for being on a do not call list.

They said I had won a free alert for someone that had fallen, but you have to buy a security system contract to use the alert system.

This number is not a valid number.  I called and Verizon said the number had been disconnected or changed.  Not wise to give any information out.

They wanted me to give information.  I told them if they give me their number I will call them back.  It was 954-772-1213.  That number was not valid either.

Called my home at 8:30 p.m. but did not leave a message.  I recognize the number as they've called before and left the "break-in every 15 minutes" message.  I also rec'd two calls this morning from "ATI" (same number posted by Billy Bob, above).  So annoying!

They called our house but we didn't answer. The caller ID said it was from a cell phone in Tennessee.

Saturday morning third time they have called me this week.  I wish the FBI would put them in jail for scaming hard working Americans.

they called us 3 times within 24 hours, told them we were busy and asked for a call back number, got a hang up.  Asked for a name and company they represented, got a hang up, twice.  We have isntructed the same NOT TO CALL US AGAIN after the first call, but they still are calling.  WE tell ALL telemarketers that we go out of our way to avoid thier business.

Called at 5 p.m. and the answering machine got it - no message left.  I don't have time for this :(

Also rec'd calls from a Utah # for security systems yesterday.  Coincidence?

Another bogus telemarketer for security systems.  Must be the season.  ATI also called today from 5022544524 to pitch security systems too.  Might be a connection

Called at 8:20 pm.  I did not answer.  I have "Do Not Call" service on my 3 phones numbers, but lately many telemarketers are getting through anyway.

Unwanted calls

Received call...when I answered, there was a dial tone. The call was immediately followed by a call from 201.200.8722 which was a recording selling alarm systems. These numbers must be connected.

I found out that you can call the FTC and file a fraud complain. The number is 877-382-4357.

Great idea, I'll have to try that. I have use the local FBI phone number and address for ebay and craigs list scammers.

They have called my house at least a dozen times and every time it's a different number with the exact same message. It's soo irritating!!! Does anyone know how to make it stop???

I too take their time up.  I act as interested as I possibly can, give them a fake name, and then provide them with my phone number for the call back from their regional 'agent'.  HOWEVER, the number I provide is actually for the police department in my city.  Maybe if the police department gets enough calls from these b*stards, they will follow up with measures that us, the general public, have been unable to use.

In addition to picking option #2, I have picked option #1 and told multiple people to stop calling me. They hang right up and the machine keeps calling.

So I now have taken a new approach of getting a person and wasting as much of their time as I can before they hang up.
