To all those who don't know. I have bought tickets for several years now and have seen 3 of the concerts. It's not a scam it's a fun night out and Jack Thomson is the president and also fire chief at station 1 On main street. I have done some research and the president of United Way (organization. a lot of people donate to) makes $375000 a year plus expenses. These good people with the CFFA do a lot more for our local communityfor a lot less

It is indeed a fundraiser for the Chattanooga Fire fighters Association. I have bought tickets in the past and attended a couple concert with friends. Also, the times I was not able to attend, I either sent them back for Chambliss kids or Orange Grove, or other community agencies to use.

That is a website that someone else made and we have no control of it whatsoever. Our website (which is listed on the concert tickets themselves) is www.cffafundraiser.org if you need updated info in the future. Sorry for that confusion. Also, we do pay our employees and we try our best to provide our employees with competitive wages for many reasons. One being that we take pride in providing as many jobs to local people as possible. Honestly, volunteers would only get frustrated with the way some of you folks speak to them when they call and give up. We also seek professionals so that we do not break rules or upset someone (alot of folks are super sensitive about their phones). We take alot of pride in the lack of complaints we receive. We really do our best to make sure that #1- the Firefighters have enough funds to operate their many outstanding programs, #2- that the community stays informed about the fire safety programs as well as the Family Friendly concerts we hold Bi-Annually, and #3- that we address every concern and always maintain a professional approach as we ensue our fundraising efforts. Again, we are doing our very best and I am happy to speak with anyone having questions or complaints @ 423-899-4990. Thanks, Josh Thurman

Its for real I've worked there they sale tickets to to shows at the memorial auttorium they Are a non profit which means they can't ask for or even use the word donation that's why they sale tickets they make a little money off every ticket and if u can't go to the show u can send the ticket back and they will give it to kids at the chambliss shelter I don't care for the way they treat employees new people get cold calls while everyone else get numbers of people that bought tickets before that's f****d up other than that they do I great job they are located on the same road as the pool place on Lee hwy

A May 3, 2011 12:15 pm posting on http://www.local820.org/?page_id=65 lists a concert for Sunday Evening, June 5th, 7:30 PM. Answer this question, why are people, that have to be paid, calling to sell tickets to a benefit concert and your web page hasn't been updated since 2011?

Why are they selling concert tickets to begin with? Sounds like a big scam to me, they called on a bunch of different numbers and the last time rang only twice if this is chattanoogas firefighters association, why are thet selling concert tickets? And why doesn't it say CHATTANOOGA FIGHTERS ASSOCIATION ON MY CALLER ID? SOPUNDS LIKE A SCAM YTO ME.

On the no call list and they keep calling. Finally answered and spoke with a person reluctant to answer questions honestly. Good luck selling so called "concert tickets" with that attitude.

@ Irritated- You posted under one of our other numbers as well. I know for a fact that nobody from this number has called you over and over and I have the phone records to prove it. We do a good job for the community and are very professional in making these calls. I urge you to give me a call to dispute the fact that you are lying through your teeth and obviously have some sort of problem with a former manager or employee of the Chattanooga Firefighter's Association. I can be reached at 423-899-4990. Also, if you want your number removed and for us to never call you again then you can call that same number to have any number removed from our database and we will not waste ours or your time. It is quite simple actually.

This is supposedly the Chattanooga Firefighters Association. They are selling tickets for a benefit concert. They have been calling my fax number over and over again all day. I finally answered it since they have been calling every 1 1/2 hours all day long.
