Keep on calling but never leave a message.  If you return the call they answer just by " hallo " without giving details.

Listen I know for a fact that this association is legit. I personally know the president of the association. They raise money for the burn fund in the area, you can call the red cross and ask them if you would like. They DO give smoke detectors to the needy families in the area they have a closet filled with them in the office. They also go to the county schools and teach the young children about fire safety, and show them the safe way to give out of a home if it was to catch fire. So yes this association is in fact a good thing, well that is if you care about helping children and the families in your community!

These guys are crooks. Local fire departments can't even confirm these guys even exist and you claim they buy things for poor families? Find a poor family that actually knows these guys and I've got a bridge in Arizona to sell you.

They use slimy tactics to get you on the phone in the first place (that is if they even answer when they call you) and the fact that no one can confirm their existence and what they do is just another major reason to classify this as a FRAUD organization. If you don't believe me, call your local fire department. No one knows who they are and they say to steer clear because they don't solicit by phone.

This is the Tri Cities Fire Fighters Association soliciting for support by purchasing a ticket to an event at Freedom Hall,December 6th. Tickets are $22.00. The event being "The Original Drifters w/ Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs" Proceeds will help provide smoke detectors for families, help fund the Community Fire Relief Fund for victims of fire, provide funding for the Childrens Fire Safety program and continued education and specialized training for firefighters.
