Remember what you wrote on your ad. If they are going outside the box, and its too good to be true...then they are usually blowing smoke. Trust your gut .

Well he texted me about he send an iPhone 5 to me to trade with my iPhone 4 he saw my ad on Craigslist should I trust him

Call comes from Culter California, fraudster tries to get you to send goods to Nigeria telling you he has paid the money to paypal report to FBI

This number is a scam report it to the FBI, mail fraud is the specialty of this group user in USA ties to get you to ship to Nigeria, uses Paypal fraud email messages trying to make out paypal as an holding account, this fraudster deserves jail time.

Same story as everyone else's above.  I told him to find Jesus and quit scamming people!

Obviously a scam.  After he sent me the offer basically the same as everyone above, I texted back and stated that I only deal locally.  I then looked the number up, and found this page.

I was selling a cell phone on Craigslist.  He offered me more than my asking price, supposedly for his son as a birthday gift.   I told him I accept Pay-Pal,  his grammar was awful,  similar to a "foreigner"  I got a fraudulent email supposedly from Pay Pal  stating that I need to provide proof of mailing the item before funds will be released.  I know from selling items on Ebay that is not how PayPal works.  Also the properties of the email had it originating from a Yahoo email account,  I'm pretty sure Pay Pal doesn't use yahoo as their email provider...lol

I texted him back politely inviting him to go back to sexing up his goat or camel or whatever his preferred sex partner animal may be.

I got a text from this number in response to a Craigslist posting also. Offered me $100 more than I asked for. When I told him/her cash, and local pickup only, I did not get a response. It's an obvious scam, buying it for the pastors son's birthday, and he just happens to be on a missions trip overseas.
Do not be fooled!

This person has also contacted me regarding a Craigslist posting, again offering $100 more than my asking price if I shipped it out and used PayPal for payment.

He/she has bad grammar, often forgetting words such as "a", also stating he lives " at rochester city"
He means... "I live in Rochester"
Claims to be a business man/pastor on a business trip, and the item has to be shipped to his son for his birthday, and his "son" is the one over seas.
