It is from a company called Alorica. They handle warranties and things for different companies, including Sam's Club, Vizio, Home Depot, and Verizon. It is essentially a call center with people just doing their jobs.

Right after I finished arguing with AT&T about a phone bill. And i got a call back from AT&T and I didnt answer. Right after that I received the call from the 233 number I answered and was told she was the manager on the floor at At&t and was advised about my problem. Didn't give her any answer and just told her goodbye. But she sounded juuuust like the girl i was arguing with. Maybe its like one of those numbers people use for you to see that caller ID instead of the one they are really using.

Called my cell phone at 7 AM.  No message, no ID except phone number, despite my phone being set to reject calls with no caller ID.

On 12/10/2012 I received a call from Vizio tech support in reference to a call I had made to Vizio tech support on 11/27/2012. It took Vizio 14 days to get back to me concerning a defective product I bought and received on 11/27/2012.  I told the Vizio caller I had returned the defective product to the retailer where it was purchased and received a cash refund, I was no longer interested in talking with them.  Since it took so long for Vizio to get back with me they have lost me forever as a user of their product. If you buy a Vizio product, good luck, hope it works upon receipt and you never have to deal with an inferior customer service and bad quality control.

This call was a follow up call for a Home Depot Extended Warranty service that I implemented. It was to confirm the vendor setting up the service date for the issue.

yep, I talked to sams club tech support about a portable dvd player yesterday and got the call a few minutes ago but I missed it...no message left.

Got a call from 424-233-2001 while I was on the other line. They left no message. I've had calls from this company (or individual) before but never answered.. and, they NEVER leave a message. I won't call this number back because it show acceptance of a call from this number.

Even though I'm on the Do Not Call list and have been for many years, still calls such as this get through. I suggest NOT answering any call from this number and NOT calling them back. Remember folks, "curiosity killed the cat."  :-)

Talked with sams club tech support for a dvd player yesterday. Got this call and no answer. Tried calling back and non working number.

i got the call from the number but the said i had a dental appointment when i tried to call the number back it said it was a non working number... what is going on? and who is this playing on my phone?

I received a call from them too but I was just dealing with a HomeDepot Extended Warrenty issue through the Federal Warranty Service Corp. I called 424-233-2001 back but all I get is a recorded message that says "this is a non-working number, please check with your service provider".

I just missed a call with no message.  Same as Elmo, I just dealt w/ Sam's Club Warranty Dept. this past weekend.
