A company called "PaeTec" was heavily involved in illegal email spamming a few years ago. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was the same company.

Called at 5:24 PM local time. Caller ID said INFO SERVICE. Call screening answered; caller left no message.

6/24 17:24 Robo Call Offering to reduce my home loan. Excuse me? I don't have a loan one. Just blacklisted this number. Fed up to the teeth with this garbage. Eventually, hope we will be able to take back our lives and not have to put up with this constant harassment via the phone.
And of course... 2013-06-19 04:17:09 Debt Collector
...there is no reason to enforce the truth in calling ID act...
This is 'Client Services':
http://www.clientservices.com/
These are debt collectors. And, what really reaks here, is that there is no mention of a debt when these callers call - I got an unaccented 'Hello?" only once.
Why not PUT IT IN WRITING?
Because, there is NO debt.

I also received a call from this number on 6-17-2013 at 5:36 PM. They left no message. CID read INFO SERVICE.

The problem is that the FCC only has jurisdiction on calls which originate in the United States. Telemarketers, call centers, and spammers are smart enough to locate their robo caller outside of the country. As soon as you answer your phone the call is transferred to a rep in a call center.
Saying things like it's the phone company is pretty, well, less that smart.

Called at about 6 p.m. on Monday local time. Recording says concerns lowering mortgage rates related to the "government program." Gives opportunity to opt out by punching a number, but I just hung up after that without attempting to talk to a human. (DNC and other advice says this just lets them know a live person picked up their call.)
PS I don't even HAVE a mortgage at present. I'm renting!

Home loan modification company, calls several times per week. Same company uses the number 424-241-1695, Reporting all calls to donotcall.gov. Caller ID indicates "Info Services"

Just got a call from the fraud operation using 424-241-1698 and the phony caller ID "INFO SERVICE." Of course, "Info Service" didn't leave a message. So I'm glad to know it's just another shyster-scam con game. The number is now blocked.

Just adding my complaint to the long list to show this number is still trying to work its dirty little tricks in June.

Called on a Sunday evening, no message left, HermosaBeac(h) caller ID, blocked via the technology here, rinse and repeat with the next phone spammer. Spokeo (which is a great supplemental online lookup resource to use in addition this site) reports 64 complaints across the web, and includes links to places like 800Notes if you want to dive in for more details of other user's experiences with the number). WhitePages reports that this is phone is a Windstream Communications landline from Redondo, CA That's kind of unusual as most of these longer term spammers use the free web-based VOIP phone services that are basically untraceable. Using those services, a person originating the spam can be anywhere in the world, and can be assigned a phone number in virtually any area code. Once setup, a computer program basically sits on a cheap old XP level computer from a hundred years ago, and runs down whatever list of phone numbers it has access to. There are a tremendous number of lists of pigeons out there on the web for purchase by these guys...so these types of calls will continue virtually ad infinitum. Complaining here relieves a little stress, but frankly, there is nothing that the DNC list (or the FCC and other U.S. government agencies) can do to stop this activity, as technology has outrun their capacity to regulate and prosecute.

criminals are now added to PRO call blocker version 2.0...the best $59 you will ever spend.
1200 number blocking capacity..up to 10 area codes can be blocked...also you can block criminals with no phone numbers on their caller ID.
blockers with 50 or 60 number capacity..you will run out of numbers in a couple of months.
FCC is in bed with these criminals:
1-do not answer the calls that you do not recognize.
2-search on awesome websites such as this one,for the phone number and once you see the numbers here,
3-stop wasting your time with useless reports and complaints and buy a good blocker.

F****ng spammers!
bawa 2013-05-15 00:50:40 Telemarketer
I got a call from this number today. I didn't answer. I only answer numbers I know. My phone company only allows a max of 12 numbers to block and they are full. I am on the Do Not Call list but it seems it isn't working anymore. In the last 60 days I have gotten over 50 spam calls from various Telemarketers.
So now I am using the Call Forwarding feature from my phone company. It lets me setup Call Forwarding for specific numbers to whatever number I want. So I chose one of the Spammers phone numbers as my Call Forwarding number. And now every time one of these spammers calls me I go and add them to that Call Forwarding number. Now they can spam each other. It works so far! LOL.

Debbie 2013-05-13 00:59:28 Telemarketer
The DO NOT CALL registry is turning out to be a joke. I see that others as well as me report the same calling phone numbers as I do over and over for a period of months and the registry does not make it stop. The government is wasting our tax dollars for this registry and doing nothing to stop the calls. WHY??????
I know it is hard to get a scammer, but you would think that there is a way to make the calls stop. If I use call blocking the just call from a different number. They have even called me and the caller id shows my own name and number. How could I be calling myself with robo messages to lower my mortgage?

It's Sunday afternoon and these scumbags are calling me? They were't going to get any business before and they certainly won't ever be getting any now.

Don't answer a call from these lowlifes. They are trying to rip you off in addition to harassing you with unwanted calls.

Well, well, well!!!
After several months of no scam calls from these idiots ... they tried and failed ... again!
Quote from "Forest Gump": " Stupid is as stipid does!" plus a famous quote ... "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" (or something like that) ... both apply equally and fully to these scamming idiots!!!
Blocked, they try and fail, get a disconnected number message; try again, get the same disconnected number message; and on and on. Lol
Just goes to prove they don't have a brain in their pathetic little empty heads! I have not once fallen for rheir little scam and know I never will. None of their calls get through (call log on service I use displays their failed attempt), spoofed name and number they use not once displayed on caller id either. Yet, these stupid moron's keep trying .... and failing! And I can't stop laughing!!!

It's 5:17 PM and just rec'd a call from this number. I pick up and I immediately disconnect.
Larry Poke 2013-04-16 00:36:20 Unknown
It's not the FCC, it's the phone company who "encourages" the FCC to ignore protests about illegal calls. As long as telemarketers pay their phone bills, ain't nobody gonna do nuthin'.

Telemarketing SCAMMER violatimg Federal Do Not Call List
bob 2013-03-28 01:19:18 Telemarketer
This company has started calling my number and i have reported them to the do not call registry and the next time i will report them to their local p[olice department and file a criminal charge against them. If their local police are forced to deal with it they will probably get a nasty letter from the city/county prosecutor and I let the local police know i did report it to the federal do not call registry so the cops can yell at them for not doing their jobs. So far it has been working.
