I got a txt telling me I was a winner.

I kept on receiving the same type of text messages repeatedly on my cell phone over the last three four / months but it was coming from number 305-987-7081 (probably the canadian number for this operation). I found out on my last invoice from my provider (Bell Canada) that these messages were charged to me 0.30¢ each, so I phoned my provider this week and asked that all incoming text messages be blocked and that if I get one more I'll issue a complaint to the CRTC.

my bad. that's suppose to be winagift.org and then links to zinga.com. What ever you do do NOT sign up and be careful of any flashing so called prize win stuffs.

i got the same text and it says winner bla bla bla when you type in the code then goes to that scam site zinga.com

got txt from same scammer today [sunday]. Thanks to you all for setting me wise ...they are obviously camming on a global scale .......

I got the same txt yesterday telling me i was an iWINNER, but the website apple.ca.winagift.org is completely bogus and a REAL APPLE website would be something like apple.ca/winagift with NO .org. The .org gives you the real domain of the website, and NO apple site has .org as its domain. SCAM ARTISTS AT THIS NUMBER trying to prey on people! Don't give them any information or internet traffic. Cause once you hand over your credit card info....you've made your life harder.
