scammer. selling my xbox360 for $200 on indianapolis CL and he offered $390 via paypal for his cousin. whatever.

I also had an item posted on Craigslist. They insisted On Using PayPal which I declined. Haven't heard from them since. Definitely a scam glad I went with my gut.

Insisted that he wanted to purchase but was on a trip - when I told him I didn't mind waiting until he was back in town, he re-sent the exact same message he'd sent me in the first place. He's a scammer, & not a very good one at that.

This is African guy who sits all day and night and sends emails and texts to people on craigslist. Every time I list a phone on craigslist I get text from him. The guy fabricated Paypal massage with bunch of mistakes and wants you to think it is real and that you received money. Of course when you log in to your Paypal there is nothing there, no pending transaction. He does not even have Paypal account. He wants you to ship to this address:

Just got a text about a CraigsList add I posted, the person offered me $100 more than I am asking for.  Wanted me to use my paypal account for payment and shipping.  When I told him no he became really pushing so I typed in the cell number and found this page.  So yeah, watch out.

This is definately a scam.  They want to commit to making a payment but want shipping to occur before the funds are put into paypal and clear.  STAY AWAY

I have been getting the same text recently.  It seems like some type of unusual scam.   I found this online before really going further.  I told the buyer to call me before I send my paypal account in order to prevent some hacking issues.   He did call.  Hispanic origin.   And said he wants it shipped to his cousin.  When I asked him to send the address, he sent Dennis Kenneth, 4 Brethren Close, Ejigbo, Lagos, Nigeria 23401.

I cant say if I will continue with the shipment at this point.

Same thing. This guy is trying to buy something from me on Craigslist. He is texting back and fourth, claiming he is buying the item for his cousin. He is offering me almost $200 more than I am asking to pay for shipping and hastle. He wants to use paypal for the transaction. I called him out and now he wont reply. Total scam. Watch out for this moron.
