You are absolutely so wrong on all accounts.Never answer any questions that a complete stranger asks of your health on the phone. When a reputable doctor uses this type of service they usually tell you in advance. It isn't a cold call.Further more why did they call me?I don't live anywhere near their service area nor have I..I have been the target of ID THieves in the medical arena.I have no patience for those who would help them.in any way including giving them your own personal information.I will close my post to you now before I type something I won't regret.

You are so right it is a telemarketer.I live across the country and have been receiving calls from this company. With different area codes to boot. The one I just received was from Washington State.I called back something I normally don't do.I got a answering machine. It did allow me to remove my number which I did.It didn't even state who they were on the answering machine.I have never lived in premeras area of service which is the closest match I could find.According to some on here this is their number.

My parents are getting daily calls from 425 903 5434, giving them lectures about diabetes, which they don't have nor would they take health advice from an audio recording. This is harassment! How can we get Premera Blue Cross to STOP THESE ROBO CALLS.

I do not answer phone when I do not know who is calling.  You would think if a caller is repeatedly making calls to someone who does not answer the phone, they would stop.  Not the case from this phone numbers.  Too bad straigh-talk does not offer the feature of blocking numbers like verizon.  Unfortunately not quite sure how to stop the harassing phone calls (no messages left either) other than to report them through any vehicle possible.

Actually they are affiliated with your insurance company. The purpose is to help you oe shame you of of medications your primary care physician has prescribed. Only your doctor can know what is best for you and is an MD while the nurses and staff are just nurses and staff.

So when they call, they will be asking very personal questions and making notes for your insurance company. Anything you say can and will be interpreted to deny payment for unnecessary drugs or procedures. It is not a benefit but a cost saving measure for the insurance company.

If you are taking anti depressants, there will be many questions that you will be asked to answer. These are so personal that even the most trusting will have a hard time opening up so you will refuse to answer.
If you have stopped taking the anti depressants, the caller will ask if you feel better? If you chose to answer no then they will ask more questions. If you answer yes then there task is done cause you just said on a recorded conversation, that you never need anti depressants again cause you said you feel better not taking them.

So answer away. But remember to tell your physician you now have another physician. And that new physician thinks your primary care doctor cares more about knowing and treating you than the bottom line. Please ask you physician to consider saving the insurance company some money before considering what kind of care you should receive.

Unfortunately, we will never be able to sue the insurance companies for giving away our private information. The insurance companies have a right to give away your information as long as the insurance company has control over who is allowed to see it.

How is this annoyance an additional benefit?  How does providing personal information to an absolute stranger benefit you?  It is very obvious that many complaints here have indicated that people no longer wish to be called by this organization but continue to be called anyway.  How do we know your employer who has "legit"(imized) this very personal intrusion is honest and above board?  Is it possible that he is looking to cut costs by allowing a third-party to determine additional non-reported health conditions of his employees which will aid in getting you denied or dropped from your health plan and subsequently from cutting in to his bottom-line?  More likely, it is the health care provider who has a vested interest in doing this.

Don't fall for this friendly nurse crap.  Tell them very, very firmly to stop calling then report them to the FCC complaint site immediately.

This is a nurse calling on behalf of our family's healthcare plan. Very polite, and answers questions about diabetes, asthma, etc. If you don't have time to talk or don't want to, you can set up a call back date or tell them not to call. She can only talk about my health info, won't give info about my spouse's because of privacy laws. This is legit, my employer sent a letter saying that ths was an additional benefit of our health insurance.

This number called my cell phone Feb. 2nd, 3rd & again today Feb. 9th. They never leave a message, so I decided to call the number back. They answered the phone "Education and support program - how can I help you?" I hung up. They have nothing to do with my health insurance. Tread lightly. I wouldn't trust them with any information, not even my name.

I like these people. They are nice and the dieticians sent me some meal plans for my diabetes. My insurance is with Premera and I have better luck talking with these nurses than I do when I call the healthplan or doctors office. I was reading 'Scammer Slayer' and I think he is one of those highly paranoid people who probably wear tin foil hats so they don't hear "voices."

They want specific info about people and their families! They call all over the country to land lines and cell numbers. Harrassing citizens of the U.S. a minimum of 1 or 2 calls a day. They claim to be Registered Nurses. No self- respecting nurse will try to obtain personal information from so many people in the manner that THEY approach. I say they are a bunch of scammers harrassing, and are scuzzy people that are trying to collect YOUR personal info. They will tell you what you want to hear, especially that they work for YOUR health insurer! Anyone who is a RN trying to check up on your health status will be their at YOUR request, not them trying to hunt you down over the phone and get your info. This might sound a bit crazy, but carefully read some of the posts. You can tell that this outfit even monitors complaints about itself and trys to continue with covering up what they are trying to accomplish, WHICH IS SCAMMING EVERYDAY U.S. CITIZENS OUT OF THEIR PERSONAL INFO! Now they will respond with some B.S. about, "We are a group of registered nurses from blah blah blah trying to help you, is your spouse there?, Would you like any addtional info for your child/children? We know you're not interested, but we can get info for your family. Let me talk to your spouse. My name? Well...I'm not supposed to say....,but it's Jane. Do you want my last name?" "No thank you. I'm not interested, or I received the info from my work". Does NOT work!!! Their response is " We'll call back (usually 3 months from now) to check up on you." What a bunch of B.S.! This scam operation is out of control. FYI they are watching. By me complaining they will just go the extra step to cover their tracks and maybe slip. And that's what I am wanting them to do!!!!!!! This is chess, not checkers

this may not be a scam, but they've called every single day (often several times a day), so I finally decided today I'm going to answer and ask them to stop calling.  The previous entry said "they are very polite" - I think NOT! The woman who called me turned very quickly belligerent when I told her I'd like to opt out.  She would not let me wedge in one word and I found myself having to repeat several times that I'd like to opt out several times (she apparently liked the sound of her own voice) before I decided it wasn't worth it and told her not to call me and hung up on her. Good grief.

They are calling on behalf of your health insurance plan. In my case, I signed up for a health program (weight loss) through my employer (Boeing). They are calling on behalf of the Mayo Health Clinic.

This is a "service" from my health insurer.  A registered nurse calls and ask about my chronic medical condition.  They ask how I am, the last time I went to my doctor, and if they can provide me with information.  They are friendly and helpful, but I've always wondered what there real motivation is.

DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING! I called Boeing and Regence and Boeing and Regence doesn't know who these people are!  I gave them the number and they are trying to alert members. These people called me and said that Boeing told them to call, I noticed something was wrong because I wasn't with Boeing anymore, they made an excuse that I must still be in the computer somehow but I just talked to Boeing and they don't know who that is, wouldn't give out my info without my permission, and I'm not in the system anymore. This is a cold call scam, insurance and employers are not allowed to give that info out.  Anyone know who I should call and give the number to? I'm scared cause the first time I called, when I got a mailer, I'm trying to remember what info I gave them. I think it was just name, address, birthday, and I don't think they can do anything with that but...  Uggg...
