Same number called 9 times and left 7 messages.  Even after I hung up on him, he still called.  Then, today he called from a different number.....same voice,  Indian accent with broken English.

They called me on Friday and left a voice mail that I could barely understand. Today they called and I spoke to someone with a thick Chinese accent. They were saying that they were the IRS and wanted to speak to my husband and that he needed to call the number back and speak to Michael Carter.

Besides all of you posting there are several reasons that I know that this is false:
1. Today is MLK day, a federal holiday.. hence no IRS agents at work.
2. The IRS sends you letters when they want to audit you.. never phone calls.
3. I live on the east coast and the call was from Bellevue Washington..I think there are IRS offices closer to here that would be calling.

If you receive this call tell them you are reporting them to the local authorities..
Now if anyone knows who to report them to, please let me know.. I would love to!

I will request all of you to file 1st info report = fir with your local police dept and they may take the heck out of them.

Called and harrassed my family in regards to an IRS whatever....ridiculous

Someone called "Peter George" with heavy Indian accent called from this number stating himself as from IRS tax litigation department and trying to tell me that there is an IRS case against me and the cops would come to house if I don't do what they say - I looked up here while on the phone and asked him more questions and he got very defensive and I hung up

My 70-year-old mom got an "Alex Watson from the tax litigation dept" call this morning. Number 425-214-0748. It frightened her. Who do we report this to?

ya they are a total scam I called them back and told them I was reporting them

Received a call, said it was from the IRS and that we would be arrested tomorrow.  They sounded as if they were from India or a like country.

got a call from these guys today morning, mentioned that IRS file a law suit against me and they want my lawyer information to send documents. His name is Ann Taylor . Ba.......!

When i call back the same number one more Ba.... answered the phone with IRS ID bla bla and said same thing and when i ask about the complaint, no answer ! phone is on Hold!!!!!!!!!

The dimwits called twice today. Ignore the idiots; no reason to be scared.

I have received the call from 425-214-0748 claiming IRS and asking my personal info.

I also received a call just now insisting on information from me, and when I didn't comply I was told "watch out for tomorrow".  SCARY!!!
