Receive 6-10 calls per day. Accidentally answered, and refused to give any info. They wanted me to forward a message, and when asked what the message was they simply claimed a "personal matter." When told I would not forward a message without knowing what the call was about, they stated, "It is personal. Do you know the meaning of personal?" I stated again I would not forward a message without knowing what the issue was, and they said, "Well, you're just going to fu** him," and hung up.

I am now contacting my State's attorney general.

Just send then a CEASE AND DISIST letter. This usually works. It did for me.

Same here. I called them and got a machine. It supposedly was their operator.

Received unwanted call from AMO recoveries of Everett WA. I have excellent credit. This is an obvious mistake. When I called them back twice they put me on a recording device. They did not leave message when they called. I have not been able to speak to an actual person. Sounds like a scam to me.

THEY SAY THEY ARE AMO RECOVERY, A DEBT COLLECTOR.  HE WOULDN'T TELL ME WHO I OWE MONEY TO AND HE WANTED MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER.  I DIDN'T GIVE IT TO HIM.

I'm sick and tired of these people sticking there nose in my business Ya I have a debt that I owe but not to them and they are blowing my phone up  day and night even on Sunday over 104.00 dollars owed to direct TV who never called me one time I didn't even know I owed the bill until now

Just got a call - I've got a couple small debts but didn't think anything w as close to being turbed over.  Reading this stuff here now makes sense.

They call me several times a week as if I am a w***e or something.  

Debt collector (they buy debts from other collectors, back and forth) and they are the latest owner of this number. Not sure what debt they are referring to, they are very unprofessional. (Transfers with automated machines that switch you and then hang up, sounds of people or work in background, very unmotivated people that you can barely understand (accent or not you need to speak a little more clearly). And of course automated voicemails which are the apex of annoying.

I've had my phone number for ages, these people started calling about a year ago and they call at least 2 times a day, every day. Times I've answered no one is there, they never leave a message. I have recently paid off all my debts and have nothing in collections anymore. They still call. I don't want to change my number cause I've had it so long. I'd have to change all my pet ID tags, and contact info on all my accounts. Too much work. I just ignore the calls.

These people have called every day since I got this prepaid phone 8 months ago.  I'm getting so fed up I want to answer by yelling at them, but then I'd waste a minute.

Received call from AMO regarding an apparent bill owing from Kaiser of $25 and now $.99 more for a total of $25.99.  I was unaware of this bill, if factual, since I make monthly payments to Kaiser for my previous medical expenses.  Requested they send everything in writing.

they call 4-6 times daily, they claim i owe on a rental agreement  from 2001 (rented a sax for my son ). since then they have changed owners.the new owner say i owe 399.00 and not returned the sax . i told them we had in fact returned the sax at the end of school year . with the original owner!!! my son is now a senior in college
THIS IS SCAM !!!!!!!!! they refuse to send a bill or leave a message on my phone. oregon  statue is 6 years.for them to collect. i said take me to court i have nothing to hide. they just keep calling and calling . i have nothing showing on my credit report. they want you to pay over the phone. SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was given this information when I had problems with a debt collector.  In the state of Washington, if a collection company claims you owe them $, they must provide in writing how much you owe, to whom it originated, etc.  For more information on collection agencies and harrassment in the state of Washington, look up RCW 19.16.250.  This Washington law will tell you what is prohibited debt collection practices.  If they continue call the Attorney General's office.

Asked for me by name after picked up from speaker phone. Then male caller hung up. This number called several times. No messages are on my machine. In this political time, I was thinking it was a poll person. I owe no debits at this time, so it is assumable this is a call center rather than just a debt collector.

call all the time mostly when I cannot answer my phone, I called back today.  Would not tell me any info wanted me to give out my social security number to verify who I was and he got defensive when I refused. I verified my current address and when It was not the address they had he back peddled quickly.... SCAMMER

They keep calling to say I owe for something I have never even seen a bill for. I thought this might be a scam. I am glad I checked into it.

They keep calling saying I owe $25 to Keizer. I pay at time of service and never received a bill. I have asked them to send me one on a couple occasions and they have not. Are they just trying to access my account info. Very fishy!

No idea who this is, but they call me a few times a week. Weird because it is our local area code and sometimes lists "City of>>>>>>>" on the caller ID, but sometimes not, but all our city/local bills are up to day so not sure why they continue to call

They called me.  I actually answered.  (gasp)  No one spoke.  10 seconds later, the call ended. (as in they hung up on me)  Guess its not a debt collector, cause those people never shut up!
