I am getting tired of incessant voice mail messages (supposedly about my energy bill) from these creeps.

Exactly.. U are so correct with all the number. Call at most weirdest time . My freaking Iphone has no freaking option to block any damn number , so i keep getting calls.

I called PSEG, I used to be their customer years back. They clearly denied that they are not the ones calling.
The frequency of calls actually increases the more options you try to get them away.
I am just gonna block them. Wish At&T had a spam call list so that if more than 25 users call that number to be a SPAM they can block it completely.

They are calling multiple times a day even WHEN I ASKED and demanded from them to be removed from their call list SEVERAL TIMES. They still keep calling. It is annoying and consumers should be able to take legal action against such companies.

I've gotten 3 calls today.  3 yesterday and 2 the day before.  I just picked up and let them hang up.  I may have to look into getting a call blocking app.

This number calls my cell phone several times a day, often back to back phone calls and never leaves a message. Cannot tell you how annoying this is!!!

They called 10 times today and call about 4 or 5 times everyday.  I blocked number then the "Mitch" 5046
showed up.  I also get calls from the same numbers that are on "Q's" post.  This is phone terrorism and nothing seems to end this.  I live in NJ and no one is safe.

The number calls my cell phone ten to fifteen times a day - i usually ignore - today i answered and there is no one on the line - i left a very nasty message but that did not deter them - the caller ID say Everett, Washington.

getting at least 6 call a day from this number. its gotten ridiculous. How can i report it or get them to stop? They call at all hours of the day and night, it is extremely harassing.

Calls me at least twice a day for the past 2 weeks. Called 6 times already today and I'm going insane. This is harassment at this point.

They also use the number 425-320-5044, 5045 and 5046but they messed up and on the 5046 number the Mitch was listed but when I tried to call it back that original message was there.  They are unrelentless and I believe going to the site online is just another way to get all of our phone numbers.  I have cancer, COPD, heart condition, diabetes and it is difficult for me to get up to anwser the phone.  I've gotten to the point where yesterday I took it off the hook until 9:00 pm and as soon as I put it on I received two phone calls within an hour and I actually received a call at 1:55 am easter time from the 425-320-5044 number.  They only used to call once a day now it is up to almost 4 or 5 times.  I'm am so upset I don't know what to do.

No. It doesnt work it seems it make it worse. I get at least 6-8 calls a day. Reported it and now I am reaching one of the telemarketers trough the prompts to yell at them. Maybe they will get tired of that!

I have received multiple calls for weeks from this number, I answer and they hang up. It is not only this number but 425-320-5047.  7 calls from 11:15 a.m. through 2:00 p.m.

I have gone through their menu and pushed "7" to remove my name -- at least half a dozen times.  I have comlained to DO NOT CALL, my service provider was "sorry" for the problem but did (or could not) do anything.  I'm getting calls from TWO of these things and they never go away.  If anyone figures out how to stop these calls, please post!

Yes, but does it work?  have you stopped getting calls or have you only confirmed they have a working number?

I know someone who's in this business, who told me how it works (except he doesn't phone people and harass them, he only buttonholes you with his sales pitch in person).

The idea is, it's a multi-level marketing scheme. When you sign up, the alternate energy companies track who referred you, and give the referrer a credit on their own bills. If one customer refers enough other new customers, they can actually get their bill reduced down to zero. (This guy wears a button that says "My friends paid my energy bill".) Of course like all pyramid schemes, you eventually have the entire population of the universe at the bottom of the pyramid who have nobody else to refer.

So my guess is, it's the individual customers of these alternative energy companies making the calls, which is why they can't tell you what their company name is. There's no single entity doing it, which is why nobody can track them down. It's like playing whack-a-mole. Squash one and five more pop up.

(And the fellow I mentioned in the first paragraph? When he gets these telemarketing calls, he turns it around on them and tries to sell them on *his* supplier. They don't call him anymore...) <g>

I've gotten two calls a day from this number to my cell. No message. No ID.

I get several calls a week, sometimes several calls a day. I now report every single one to the Do Not call registry as ANY recorded message delivered to a cell phone is a violation.

I've been getting calls from these numbers every half hour with regularity. They always call around :20 and :50 of the hour. I filed an online complaint with the FCC, but from various forums, it seems like many others have filed complaints also. Obviously to no avail up to this point. It's infuriating.

WHEN WILL THIS STOP!!! 3 times today! Someone needs to get intouch with 60min or 20/20! Maybe get revealed and stop this crazynes!

I have tried that and was informed by the auto-recording that the calls would stop within 72 hours.  However, that was over a week ago and I continue to get multiple calls daily.  Has anyone else been able to get the calls to stop?  I can't figure out how to block a number on my phone.  I'm getting more and more annoyed by these calls every day!
