I use phone tray software, block calls and let's you select different messages for each number or type of call...one option is the phone company's "this line has been disconnected"...it rings once and that's it...I got over 30 blocked numbers and I just got the software in june 2013...So I have to wonder, with all their spying and all on phone calls of everyone from upstanding citizens to other countries leaders why cant they stop these people...call and write your congressmen/women and senators and if they dont answer or cant answer the question then for crying out loud, dont vote for them again...put the blame where it belongs, this scammers are being allowed to scam at will with impotent DNC list and no enforcement. This is a matter of national security but why hasn't the NSA done anything about it...yup it really makes me wonder, I really do not feel very secure with the National Security Agency if they cant handle this threat from within

I just got one 11/7/2013 at 12:50 PM....  rebocaller who would not give back the line "Hi this is Diane, I wanted to know if you need your carpets cleaned"

I have asked them repeatedly to remove my phone number but they continue to call.

These be REALLY bad peoples. Criminals for sure, and they NEVER ever stop calling (they just keep making stuff up and working their scam).

Received call today. Offered to clean my rugs...even offered to clean hall for free!
Same situation. They hung up when I told them I was on DNC Registry.

Now they clean rugs! Got to be kidding me.
When I simply asked how to be removed from their list she hung up.
I'm sure it was a mistake (sure!).

Today the call was in regards to carpet cleaning....

$29.00 per duct and airway. I fell for a company's "only $20" pitch and got a bill for $300.

Looks like these folks have changed their scam, because the recorded message I got today was from "Diane" offering me carpet cleaning services. The caller ID only said "Everett, WA" and there was no company name mentioned in the recorded message. It gave me an option to press 1 to schedule an appointment, and that was it.

AVG pegs the jesongreen.com website as attempting to load a virus onto your computer - don't go to that link!!

There is a real pattern of these "Services" and then houses robbed a few months later.

Why is that comment idiotic?   The callers refuse to provide an address, name of an insurer, they are not bonded and impossible to find a couple weeks later.

These folks are the lowest of the low ... the scumiest jerkwads on the planet.  They have been running a number of scams for years, and constantly change numbers.  We have been blocking them for years, and yet they get through after changing to a new set of numbers.  They are also associated with a number of other scams ... car warranty, senior alarm systems, card services .... a very versatile set of criminals.  Amazing that no one seems smart enough to put them out of business, and in jail where they belong.  Looks like this group is responsible for millions of calls each day for a variety of made up services, fake charities and whatever else they can get away with (fake surveys also).  Horrible awful nasty people.  Even if you NEVER answer unknown numbers, and block as many numbers as possible .... you still end up getting lots of calls from these turkeys.

A female voice on a recording. Asking me about steam cleaning my carpets. I first tried talking with a withering hope that it might be a human it wasn't then I hung up. The phone immediatly rang again with the same number so, being curious, I answered again and found the same recording picking up right where I hung up. I've now blocked the number on my little do-dad and reported it to DNC.

Some foreigner asking if I would like to take advantage of their "special offer"... I said sure!!! as long as it involves sodomizing their entire family!

I received a phone call from 425-320-5132.  It was a recording for Carpet Cleaning.  I hit 1 to make an appointment and a woman came on and said "Carpet Care".  I asked her to repeat the name and she did.  I then asked where she was calling from and she hung up.  Another SCAM in progress.

Got a call today from Amanda at Air Duct Cleaning Service. I just hung up. I have forced hot water.

I just got a call which I will add to my block list.  I will now get no ring but will get a list of blocked calls on my phone.

You can block 250 numbers plus kill the one ring that existed on earlier models that only allowed 30 blocked numbers.
The one handset model sells for $70 at Amazon.
