Called about an investigation and wanted to speak to Owner.  I hung up...

RUDE JERK. Called saying they use forensic techniques to recover bad debt. Told him we've been in business 7 years and never had anyone we needed to send to collections. He then got into an argument with me on the phone, and he hung up on me. We are now called by this number EVERY DAY, though no one is on the line when we answer. Phone number 425-322-1526; Private caller.

Ok so i have gotten this call three times. ASked him to tell me the name he is calling for, he said "you are old enough you should know your own name" then said im not gonna play f****n games with you, either pay me the money or the cops are going to be at your house today with a summons, Im not even a business owner.

then he called back and asked for a MR. Bara. that isnt my last name, i told him he had the wrong number and he said NO I DO NOT I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT

got a call from 425 322 1526, lady wanted to talk to the owner or controller, I asked who she was and what she wanted and she said we were under investigation and they were trying to collect a debt, I asked for who and she said "are you the owner or controller" when I did not answer she told me I should get and F....ing education and hung up on me.  I called the # back was also got the same recording that the # was disconnected.

I got the same thing from these morons as everyone else. o.k. here is what can be done. Anyone that has received these calls from this compnay and they have their number on the national do not call list can file a lawsuit against these crooked dirtbags. They are located in California, so the best thing would be for someone local to file suit against them or contact your local division of consumer proctection which is different then the BBB, which is worthless in this situation. The law states that after the second call and you are on the do not call list, the offending company can be fined $3000 per call. I personally sued a local company doing this to me in small claims and won a $1000 judgement against them, which they ultimatly paid to me, and the calls finally stopped. It can be done. The other thing I say should be done is for us to flood their lines with calls and see how these bottom feeders like thier own medicine!!!!!

This VERY rude woman called and said she was doing an financial investigation and she needed to speak with the CEO or comptroller and when I told her he was on another line, she abruptly said she'd hold and then hung up.

A call came in from phone number 425-322-1526 they said they were doing a investigation and needed to speak with the owner or controller when i said no one was available they just hung up. I tried to call back the number but it said the number was not valid. HOW DO YOU REPORT SOMEONE LIKE THIS???

Calling on business lines asking to speak to owner concerning an investigation and will hold.  I question him, letting him know he will not get through unless given more details.  Keeps repeating are you the owner?  Finally told him I would contact the local law enforcement agency and telephone company.  Hang up!

Caller asked for ceo and when told not here they are very rude! When we trace the call it is out of service. I did get this # from a source and it is the office of the offending caller. Please follow up and punish these people. The # is 561-676-5996

Woman called and asked for Owner or Controller.  I asked what this was reguarding and her answer was "a financial investigation, I'll hold"  She spoke very rudely and abruptly.  I spoke to the owner telling him who was on hold and he laughed and said - send the call in.  I could hear him tell her that we do not need their services and she must have kept going on and on b/c then he said - you do not know anything about our business and our clients and I'd appreciate you not calling back.  I think she still went on and on so he slammed the phone down and said, "Idiot!"  We get calls like this all of the time.  How do I make them stop?

I just had a male caller from the above number try to speak to my partner.  I told him she was not in and if he could identify himself.  He ignored my request and asked when she would be in and I informed him that he needed to identfy himself first.  He then said, "Listen, you don't even know whats going on first..." to which I just said goodbye and hung up to.

And the do not call registry hardly works.  these people still call about a dozen a month.

some guy just called and said he wanted to talk to the owner or manager and when they said he wasnt in they hung up I called the california number and left a message to never call me again or I would contact the authorities.

They asked to speak with the owner or controller, I said "speaking"
and they sounded releived.  They began to pitch the idea to me, and we got disconnected.  Yes- I tried to call back, and to no avail.  They called me back though.  After I told him I do not have any debts to collect, they hung up.

I just called them back and asked to speak to the owner or the controller. LOL The receptionist then said, "is this regarding a client of ours? I said no, I just felt like giving you scammers a dose of your own medicine. Sucks huh?" She hung up. Too bad I don't have the time to sit here and call them all day long. I should hire someone to do this.

Got a call from a male on sept. 13, 2007.  Said he needed to speak to the owner or a/r, it was regarding a commerical investigation.  Got all weird when I said owner was not available. Said he would call back in an hour, but never did.  Called back number and it was not in service.  Got a call today, oct. 22, 2007.  This time it was a female asking  for the owner or controller about an investigation.  She hung up when I told her she was not available.  It is wasting my time.  I hope not to hear from them again.

Can someone tell me how & who to turn these people in to for the phone calls? I got the same kind of call this morning from a very rude male caller from Joseph Stevens & Assoc. It was the same old speech on needing to talk to the owner or controller, how they're doing an investigation, wanting to send you info on collecting bad debts & checks. I wanted to say "take me off your call list", but i could'nt get a word in after I said "No" to his offer. We started yelling at each other, very loudly I may add, I just kept dishing it right back at him untill he hung up.

Keeps calling harrassing my employees.  There must be something that can be done about this.

Male called and asked for the owner or controller.  I hung up immediately.  phone rang again 5 seconds later.  I picked it up and put it down without saying anything.  Phone rang again a few seconds later.  I answered it and the guy said, "yeah we got disconnected there."  I said, "no we didn't, I hung up on you because we don't take sales calls here."  He said, "no you don't know it's a sales call, if I was a customer and you hung up on me you would get reported to the dept. of consumer affairds."  I told him our number is on the do not call registry and if he called me again I would report him for harrassment.  He hung up.

Female called & asked for Owner or Controller. When asked what call was in regards to, she replied "legal matter".  I asked her if it involved one of our customers, she said yes & when asked the name she hung up.  AS IF!!!  I AM THE THE PHONE MASTER!! NO-ONE GETS BY ME!!!!

They have called twice on our both of our Oregon and Washington lines.  A female asked for the Owner or Controller, stating she is conducting an "investigation" and she would hold.  I said that they weren't in (big fat lie, I handle the A/R) could I take a message.  She then asked for the A/R department.  She finally hung up on me.  It was a similar thing today.  Except this gal didn't want to even talk.  Just hung up when I said I wasn't in.  What a joke.  They need to be caught!

Yep, they keep bugging me too, my sister is a d.a. lawyer and found out who they are and what they are doing. We're keeping a thourough log and have already built quite a case against them.

Received a call from this number by a person who asked me "is that any way to answer a business phone?", then hung up.   I dialed star 69 got the number 425-322-1526 and tried to call it back.  I received a message saying that this number is no longer in service.  I called my provider, Verizon who said that they had no idea how someone could have called me from a number that was not in service.

A lady called and asked to speak to the owner or controller of our company. I told her I was a manager. She the asked if I could give banking info out and I told her no.  She of course got mad and hung up the phone.. I tried to call the number back but it was not in service.
