Its an election year right? Call all of your elected officials and tell them if they want your vote they must put a stop to this type of scam, When they tell you it cant be done refer them to the gov from Kansas who's security team found a student taking a tour of the capital building who texted that brownback sucked, if they have that technology then they can stop the calls.

idiot call at 1pm on 8-8-12 - we were expecting an important call, so stupidly picked up the phone & a voice said ' do not hangup=[ congratulations - at that point we hung up.any future calls we wont answer if we do not know the area code, etc.

Apparently, a Seattle-based telemarketer. I have filed two complaints with the DNC list. Whatever they are doing; punches through my "phone zap" security system, interfers with my computer modem, causes my line to go dead, or has clicking sounds like someone typing. Today, it was static. Number doesn't always show up, but today it did, after using * 77. Sometimes, it just states: "incoming call" then goes dead after one ring. I have to call my number from another phone to get it to work again. It apparently rings through to another number, perhaps a fax. Using * 57 only gets one the recorded message: "We're in the office," or words to that effect. Four straight days of this nonsense. I am seriously ill, elderly, and I do not need these childish games. I'm going to purchase a call-blocking telephone. If that doesn't work, I'm going to file a harassment suit against these people. They do not answer the phone, and only play and "hang-up" game if I answer. I just wish I knew exactly who they are. No name is ever listed. These people should be in prison.

I didn't answer the call.  Best way to deal with these types of calls that I've found is leave the ringer on the phone turned off.  The incoming call will be displayed on the TV screen for a couple of seconds - If I recognize the number I'll answer, if not the call goes unanswered.  Thank goodness for Caller ID because the famous 'Do Not Call' thing does absolutely nothing.  This time the Caller ID displayed 'Renton WA'.

This number called me in IL. at 10am. no msg. caller ID was a number only. I called back,gave me the option to opt out,which dont do any good, it said it was a "marketing" co. I get hundreds of unwanted calls..So much for being on the DNC list !!!!!!

Called me in VT at 4:04 PM.  A recorded message stating that they were GE Security Systems saying that if I their sign in my front yard....I hung up before they finished.  I have a call intercept on my phone where they are not supposed to be able to call me if they do not show up on my caller ID. There was still no name on the caller ID, just the phone number.  Do Not Call lisdoes nothing.

This is a pre-recorded message about General Electric Home Security Systems.  Press "2" on your phone and you'll be placed on their do not call list.  At least that's what the recording tells you.  I did it now we'll see if in fact they stop calling now.

They left a message and identified themselves as "Security Solutions" .... I seem to have gotten the exact same message from other phone numbers. Particularly the parts about "winning a contest" and the "FBI reporting more home break ins".

My call-blocking Panasonic phone is great, however it it only holds 20 numbers. The clowns who make these calls have thousands of numbers available to them :)

Called here in Los Angeles at 10:30am. Didn't recognize, so didn't answer. No message left. Calls such as this are only increasing in number. Apparently nothing can be or is being done to stop them.

Called our home at 10:20am.  Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Called today 1PM.  Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Some times when I am bored and these types of people call me I try to sell them water purification systems, covert them to Festivus, or ask if they would like to help me get a Nigerian prince to freedom.

They called me today at 3:40pm.. I'm in Tampa.. smh.. Didn't leave a message either..

They called at 1:44 pm in Orlando.  I was out to lunch, and they did not leave a message.

I assume that since other people are leavening comments about this number, it must only be spam.
