Fom months I've been getting calls with a recorded message talking about my auto insurance. I have options to press 1 to talk with a rep, and 2 to stop calls. I've tried both. The calls keep coming.
Today, I chose the 1 option and a man answered the phone and asked about my the make and year of my car. I began coughing into the phone loudly and told him I was suffering from lung cancer. I coughed and coughed and I heard him laughing which was ok. But then he started calling me a f***ot and a "motherf. ..." etc, etc. etc. and I began talking with him. It was off the charts to say the least.
I informed him that his calls were illegal and I told him to stop. He laughed and said he'd keep calling "b***h". And he did. Probably about 10 time. I have initiated my own tracking strategy. Perhaps it is working. He seems to have slowed down the calls.
I'm in San Diego. The number that shows up is on caller ID is 425-366-4260. I've called that number and of course it is not a working number.
