That last number is Larry Miller Toyota, which has called me many times, but I didn't report it before because I thought it was something else.  But I have no business with them, and they're calling in groups and with the same patterns as the other scam calls, so they go on the list.

The first "GOODWILL OF CEN" and "GIBSON JOHN" were answered by my voice mail, and they were both the exact same recording talking about "homeowner with excellent credit, press blah blah blah".  So, just more phony identification for these scumbag's scams, pretending to be Goodwill and some dude named John Gibson to get you to answer.  Could someone please put these jerks into a federal pound-me-in-the-a** prison already?

I wish these People stop Calling

Something to keep in mind about all these continuing bothersome calls for surveys, so called charities and so called charity pickups despite asking them to remove you from their list:

Call centers have sprung up in my town that make use of the survey and the charity loophole around the do not call list; they have been a headache for law enforcement, emergency services, neighboring businesses and residential areas.  When I ask any patrolling officer in town about these call centers, they are quick to state their frustrations about the criminal activity that some of these call centers have brought into the area. Several law enforcement agencies regularly visit some of these call centers looking for warrant arrests etc.  I have heard from sources including from frustrated employees that work for these call centers complaining about the drug activity, vandalism of cars and neighboring businesses, break-ins and theft, drinking while on the job, smoke breaks are actually marijuana breaks, drunk driving, very dangerous driving, tons of tossed out litter of empty liquor containers, trash, food etc.  I?ve even heard that the mangers are also involved in criminal activities and have even preyed on their legitimate employees who are simply trying to eek out a living on horrible wages.  Also the operators are untrained in a very high turn around, poorly managed and dysfunctional work environment.

Also realize this when you call a companies? customer service line and get horrible service from the call center that?s been hired by the company.  One time while on a call with our bank?s customer service, the operator was so loopy that it required ending the call and calling again to try and get someone else to help, think about that when you call a companies? customer service and the conversation gets odd, off the wall and obtuse ? you may be talking to an operator that?s drunk or on something.  After 6 months of getting a different and wrong answer to our ongoing problem each time we called our bank?s call center, we gave up and closed the account.

With so little police left in our town due to cutbacks, they can?t always respond to vandalism and break-ins when it?s witnessed as they have their plate full responding to the major emergencies, this allows the criminal activity free reign, the neighborhood becomes the hood.  Some insurance companies require proof of private security patrols before they will honor a claim due to vandalism or theft leaving the neighboring businesses off guard and uncovered.  These businesses also have the added cost to hire private security, install security systems/monitoring, upgrade lighting etc.  Then there are the dangers and headaches to the nearby businesses employees such as their cars being vandalized or broken into.  Some businesses simply give in, pickup and move out of town.

One of my neighbors owns a call center and he requires that his operators are bonded, but I guess there?s no laws requiring this ? there should be.  Right now in my town it seems like anybody can start up a call center and hire questionable labor for cheap without much regulation.

I my efforts the past several years to try and get something done, I am most struck by the fact that there?s no real help, everyone is more worried about being sued than dealing with the obvious problem - you are on your own....

Robo-call selling home security system.  Said to press some number to get off their list (which I did not do!).  What is the use of the Do-Not-Call registry???

In response to Annoyed above me!!!  Their number and name constantly change, switching from Renton Washington to SERVICE to 800 SERVICE, back to Washington... They call multiple times per day, and it does get quite annoying (Even after I have been "removed" from their calling list i'd say more than 15 times)

Got a call from this number on Tuesday 2012-05-01, I did not answer and let it ring.  This is a new number in the rotation of constant calls I've been getting lately.  The caller ID said "SERVICE":

Called land-line: 01/18/2012.   No message left.  Caller ID: "SERVICE".  Caller ID# 4253908175.   Caller Location: Renton,WA.  Other numbers used: ...01, ...23, ...63.

Claims to be Google offering a "top business spot" in a brand new search function. Only one business per city per industry is chosen!!

It's probably a scam, but I can't say for sure because I hung up after that.

You just called scammers back to confirm your number. You should expect even more junk phone calls now.

Never call scammers back. Do you really think that some crook who called you to run their scam is going to honor your request to stop calling? Do you click on "opt out" links you get in email spam, too?

If you call back and press 1, you can be added to their do not call list. I just did that. we'll see if it works. :)

Just got a call from 425-390-8175.  She told me she was from a vehicle service company and wanted to cofirm that I still owned my car--they named a make and model I had sold over a year ago.  I said that I did not and she asked what make and model I currently drive?  I asked what company is this?  She said we are an insurance company that provides vehicle repair maintenance protection.  I said that I was not interested.  She got pushy.  I said no thank you.  She began to extol the price and benefits of her company.  I hung up while she was in the middle of her speech because she would not accept a polite, "no thank you."

Just received a call a few minutes ago ..  all it said was "service".   Since I do not answer any calls that I don't recognize or any toll free numbers, I let it go to my answering machine ... all it did was have my message come on but they hung up.

got a call on my cell, addressing me by the wrong suffix and said they were wanting to extend  service on my 05 car when i do not have one.  i told them to leave me alone and hung up. added a DO NOT ANSWER to the number if it comes up again.  i'mon the DNC list too, but they still call!

got acall from these guys , Lady said their parent company was "vehicle service center " in florida .She refusd to tell me who the insurance agency was \backing the service contract on my car. They refused to tell me  where they got  my cell number. wnted me to prequalify my car for approval for a service ontract and them they would transfer me to a specialist at 888- 410 - 3877 to give me a quote.
tried to call back the 425 number and no ring so its a scam, even though my cell is listed as do not call they ignore it all the  time.
When icalled teh 88 number it was listed as 'home  and car care " but they did ask to provide my number to delist it which is did .I guess I'll seee if this produces more or no more  calls.......

I received a call @ 1:24pm from someone called PacificTel they didn't leave a message so it must be a telemarkerter calling.

Got a call from this number...no message, no caller ID.  Tried to call it back and got the fast busy.  planning to block this one.

Called at 9:51AM ET on Thursday, December 15 but failed to leave a message !!

Called my place of business and hung up when I answered. I blocked the caller ID on my cell and called the number back. Message said to unblock my call and try again. Ummm no. THe name on the caller ID said Joe Lewis. I hope they call back and this time talk because it is a slow day and I have nothing better to do then mess with these bozos!!
