Gat an answering machine !!  It worked for me.  They rarely call anymore.

Ever hear of an answering machine ?  Whenever those damn people call, the answering machine picks up and I rarely get anymore phone calls. Works for me !

Some sort of survey/we're really making a sales call but skirting the Do Not Call List/law by pretending we care about politics garbage. Sick of them!

They called me also but I didn't answer. If it is due to the U.S. elections it would make no sense that they are calling me in Canada. Must be more to it then that

i get these guys calling me all the time and the last one was 6/29 at 8pm. it says this is sarah from  political servay group in the mist of this controversil  political time their conducting a shrot 30 sec servay if you do the servay you will get a free two day trip to jamaca from one of their contributares.buy tips and port fees not included.so they want to wast your time twicw in one call BS

Three people have my phone number and I don't use it unless I have an emergency.
Random computer call?

Got a call yesterday and no one there.  Figured it was a computer calling.  I see they called Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan.  I felt terribly left out here in Ontario that they didn't call me after Nova Scotia.  I hope they understand that we would like to be noticed here in sequence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate these people,425-390-8930 always calling and the FTC doesn't do anything about it. Best thing to do is block the number. if you have att you can dial *60 and there is a menu to add up to 10 blocked numbers. Worked for me for the most part. If you have to add more than that you will have to delete one or more, or get att involved with setting up call blocking.

Got call no message

Just got a call from this number.  First time I have got one from them.  I didn't answer, they left no message.  I live in AZ and this is my cell number, I'm also on the worthless DNC registry.  I can't believe there is absolutely nothing that you can do to stop these calls.

The Do Not Call list exempts surveys & political calls so Scammers just claim it is a political survey and when you respond you "Win" a cruise or something paid by your local Rep./Candidate and they only need your Credit Card number/Bank info. for "taxes/fees" (We all know it must be legit 'cause our local Politicians would never scam us !) . A lot of these calls seem to originate from Wash. St. - it maybe 'cause there're lots of Meth Heads with Big Habits to support ... :-)

Automated message saying that if we participated in a short survey about our nation's debt crisis, we would get a trip for two to the Bahamas (ha ha, who is funding that? the government?)

I'm in Calif and they got me, too!  I didn't even answer.  I'm way past being sick and tired of all these calls.  Thank God for Caller ID...but obviously, the Do Not Call Registry can't or won't do anything to help all of us.  Sounds like most of us are already on their list and it doesn't help one bit!  Dammit!

no message is ever left. They just let my answering machine record several seconds of silence, until it hangs up.  They call daily, always just before dinner.  I have never given them a single word of encouragement, and will never pick up for them.  But they keep calling, endlessly and pointlessly establishing that there is a machine at my number that will not answer calls from unidentified strangers.

Am in Toronto. They called today and I was out. No msg left and caller ID only said 'Long Distance".

If, as stated in a previous post, they are calling about a US political survey, then I got a similar call earlier this week from yet another bogus number.  This is a phishing scam. They tell you that if you participate in the survey, you win a cruise - all an attempt to get your credit card info.

I'm in Halifax and I just received - and didn't answer - at 7:40 pm same day.

Number called in and recording if I call back "THE NUMBER YOU HAVE CALLED IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE".  Female computer voice advises caller on the oter end.

Have no idea who or what this is - it is annoying, though: no voice mail, no text.....nothing!

More BS. I called the number and got (In a British accent) "The number you have called is temporarily unavailble." Guess what, tards. I'M UNVAILABLE. Fuc#$ers.
