missed call, left no message, spammer?

What a great idea! Police Department ...

Probably not random, they go through all the exchanges of all the area codes and call every number between xxx-xxx-0000 and xxx-xxx-9999

I just checked my Google Voice spam folder.  HA!  Thank you, Google Voice!  Neither call rang either of my phones.

Have received numerous calls on my cell phone from this number.  When I answered the first one there was a hangup.  Since then I just don't answer.

I have stopped these calls.  I press "1" to get the live person,  and  when they answer I keep blowing  a  whistle as  loud as I can until they hang up!  I have only had to do this 2 or 3 times and all the "robo" calls have stopped!  It works.

I got a call from this number.  They called about some class action suit.  When I call back they tell me to punch 1 to opt out of any more promotions.  I am already on the do not call list

This number calls but I never answer a call that I can't identify as one that I want to take when it comes up on CID.  It goes to voice mail but they never leave a message, wonder why if it is so important?  I refuse to deal with nuisance calls and my systems works great and I highly recommend it to others.

We are no call list but received a call from this number

This number is always calling all the numbers on my account. All our numbers are on the no call list so why are they allowed to keep calling us. people on the  line wont give a name or company and are very rude!!!

Do what I've done several months ago.  My phone rings 3 times, which is enough to answer if I know who's calling, then it goes to the annoying fax noise.  A lot of my unwanted calls have stopped.

Received this call on Feb 4th, 2013.  On DO NOT CALL list.  ?? How did they get this number.

I made a typo in my entry above; I was not the caller; an unknown company was. (Also, we are on the Do Not Call list, so I don't know why they would be calling me.)

I got a call from this number (425-406-9420), but don't remember taking the call. It may have been a mortgage company, to whom I may have responded that we DON'T OWN, bubba; we're poor folk who rent!! I (It was Monday & this is Thursday, so I rightly don't recall.) I only see it on my caller-ID, listed as "INCOMING CALL" at 5:19PM FEB.04, 2013, but upon my attempts at a call-back, it says: "We're sorry. You have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service. If you feel you have reached this recording in error, please check the area code and the number, and try your call again."

Perhaps they can not receive incoming calls on a telemarketer line.

Or, then again, maybe God Himself struck them down, and so I get a bad number when I call back.

Caller left message saying that I, or someone I know, might be entitled to claim under the class action against YAZ,  Probably a robo call trying to drum up business for a class action lawsuit.

I do an accent with any of these "unknown to me" type numbers. Some days it's an Indian, or an African, an old Jew, etc. I tried to refi my Mud Hut with some assclown who called me. I did the clicks and pops too and asked if goats and small children would be accepted as payment. I did say I would have to check with my 16 wives first and then asked if they were trained in shield and spear. I love f****ng with these idiots, serves them right.

Got a call from this number but didn't answer. They did leave a message though.

"Hey, this is Bryan (or Ryan?) Daniels calling on behalf of a certified non-profit. Recently you received a letter in the mail explaining how we can lower your interest rates on your credit cards as low as 1.9%... blah blah blah".

He then goes on to give a number: 855-475-2192; to get into contact with him and telling me to have my recent credit card statement on hand.

This call is completely BS. I'm sick and tired getting calls from this number every few weeks. This is the first time I've received a voicemail from them.

I only answer when I know the caller or he/she ID's properly. Otherwise my message comes at the caller stating the call is being recorded and preserved as evidence. No one has spoken in a message after hearing this, so far.

Receive call from this number (CALLER ID-~~~INCOMING CALL 425-406-9420) it was a pre-recorded message regarding if I or some1 I know has ever taken the drug Yaz yadda yadda yadda.Pressed 1 to speak to a "human" Got a snotty a** bi*** that stated"no i'm going to keep calling you" after I told her not to call,I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST.Filed a FCC complaint against this number.Please do the same....HERES. I fortunately didn't answer, but my cell phone did and I got a missed message report and traced it to being a mortgage and bank scam, thanks to this site.  I have "no call" but somehow these still get through.  I never listen long enough for them to finish their scam messages if I do happen to answer. I can't imagine anyone giving their credit card number to one of these callers.

I am on all the DO NOT CALL registries and I received a call from this number today.  I didn't answer it.

MORE -- A choppy message about a mortgage re-fi scheme. Sounds pretty fishy!
