Keeps calling

Keep getting calls from Kirkland, Washington saying since I am a senior citizen I can apply for $3000.00 saving certificate for free grocerys.

Just got a call; they claimed they were from New York State; said that they were "american alert services". When they tried to verify my number, I asked why they hadn't checked with the Federal DNC list; they claimed that I had opted in to their service. This is a house phone that I NEVER use; I don't even know the number - I just have it in case I have to call 911. She hung up, saying I would be removed from their list.
