Called twice today. I didn't pick up but caller id said Wyndham.

Was the free trip 'no strings attached' other than having to watch a presentation on Wyndham Resorts? Just curious 'cuz they just called me and offered me a trip to Reno for 2 days or 3 dys/2 nts at various Oregon coast hotels. Do you think its worth it?

If you've ever been at a mall and saw the car on display saying you can win this if you put your name in the drawing....that is another way wyndham gets your number....I went to the presentation with my grandma and we got a free trip and digital camera...

Hey everyone.  I just got a call (November 03,2008).  The person who answered said I had won a car but then said I needed to be 30yrs of age to win it.  When I asked how I had won it, they told me that i had entered a draw at a 'food show'.  The conversation ended.   She then called back and then asked if I had a wife or girlfriend who was over 30.  When i asked more questions about where I had entered the draw she sounded upset and then hung up on me.

Just an FYI  I live in British Columbia Canada.  and the number is based in the Washington area.  

ALSO it is a different scam than this Windom vacations the other posters on this board are talking about.

I caller the number and they answered WINDOM VACATIONS.  My stbx probably signed me up.

Do these people ever stop calling?  They've been calling almost every 3 hours since yesterday evening.  I just ignore the calls.  Strange that the givers of the "prize" are more desperate than the recipient to get in touch.

Got a phone call, no message was left. (I was gone when they called.) No idea until I Googled Trendwest that they were going to try to sell me a vacation package. HAH!

just got call from this number. did not answer.

Wyndham resorts also gets your number if you submit it for a prize in the kiosks at the Mariners games at Safeco Field.

call came in 8/27/2008 at 8:01pm, and again 8/29/2008 at 12:13pm.  no name appears on caller id, just the number.  did not ignore, just missed the calls, but no messages.

08/26/2008 at 8:30 PM while alseep.  I get to sleep early so , I was, because of an early workday the following day. They could leave a message like, Hi1 I am just trying to separate you from your money!!!  Call came in on my cell phone. Caller ID showed the number, but no name. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I am not calling it back as many of you already have.

they called me today looking for someone that put my number down with there name. i was not very nice to them even after saying i didint know theperson they tryed to give me his prize. i used a few choice 4 letter words and hung up. then i called back and asked for a surpervisor and told them that if anyone from there calls me again i will file harasment chartges on the whole company and hung up. i think i got thru

I think they got it from Schucks auto supply.  I gave them my ph. number during a purchach and the next day I got a call from someone saying YOU'VE WON!

i've asked them repeatedly to take me off their list. the last time i screamed at the lady.

Called and left no message.  I have caller ID and didn't recognize the number.  We are on the "Do Not Call" List, so it bothers me that they can call me.

they're Wyndham Resorts, a time-share style company.  they either got your number through someone you know who went to the presentation for the free trip or through something filled out online.  it's not a scam though.  there's no message because it's a machine that dials your number and a bunch of others and the first one to answer gets to talk while the rest who answer have to wait.  i went in for the presentation and got my free trip.  it's only worth it if you can afford to spend about $350/mo and have two weeks/year for vacation.

This is what you do. Every time you see one of those entry boxes to win some extravagant gift use their number and of course a made up name.

No message left, no idea until I Googled them what the call was about. I'm NOT calling them back. I am on DO NOT CALL list.

Calls saying I won a prize, usually from a retail store I shop - from vacations to HDTVs and more - then tries to sign me up to attend an "informational" meeting for property/time shares, etc. in order to claim prize.  Annoyingly frequent calls.

they called me and told me i won an entertainment center and won a 3 day trip to wherever.

Missed two calls from this number, two nights in a row, they left no messages.

I think that is is WORLDMARK vacations.

they keep calling me randomly maybe once a week, maybe 3 times a week, maybe once in 3 weeks, and every time they dont leave a message, they only call my cell phone. I answered once and they said I "won" a free trip, its Wyndamere condos, ignore them, in the end they just want you to buy one of their condos. Ive said "stop calling" but they continue calling.
