Called and asked if we accepted credit cards. When I said yes, the woman stated that's all that she wanted to know and then she hung up.
The phone is a landline registered in Renton, WA.

Woman called and asked if we accepted visa and mastercard.  I said yes and she said "That's all I wanted to know" and she hung up.  I don't know what this is for but it's creepy. Even worse when you try calling the person back but nobody answers.

Same woman called and asked if we accepted visa or mastercard.  I said no and asked  who she was, said she was calling from UNITED WAYS and she hung up.  She called me back again but I didn't pick up.  Weird?!?

Received call on my cell phone while attending a business meeting.  I didn't recognize to phone number and didn't answer.  Ran search on-line and found this site.

Rcvd Call from woman asking if we accept Visa or MC.  I answered and she said that's all I wanted to know.  Strange!

BEWARE: NEVER SAY "YES".
They called and asked if we accepted Visa but would not answer my question as to "why?"
If you say "yes", they can record just that one word, patch it in to some "agreement", and bill you for something.

I hate this.  The same number calls me again.  I have registered my phone number on https://www.donotcall.gov/ a few weeks ago.  But it takes 30 days before it goes into effect.  I just have to remember not to pick up this number anymore.

As soon as I posted my previous message, I instantly received another "Private" caller, who asked to speak with me by "nickname" posted here, claiming that he was from Phoenix AZ, he said that he had 1 bad joke and products that he could place my business name upon.  I told him not to call again and hung up and he continuted shouting out to me.  Coincidence?

Received a phone call from 425-430-2876 on my cell phone.  I don't give out my cell phone number to anyone but my close friends.  Since I didn't recognize the number, I thought I'd Google it and see who it might be.  Then found this website.
