Seriously, my ad went up and it only took this person a few minutes to send me a text message.  The first tip off was the area code and the time.  I live in the Central Standard Time and it was already WAY too late to be placing a call to someone who had posted an ad.  I looked at the text, and thought, that's weird....I'm sure the person decided only minutes had gone by since the ad posted, why not text regardless of what time it was because I was probably still awake.  I sent back a text saying I JUST posted the ad, where are you calling from because the area code is no where close to where I am.  Then I Googled the phone number the text was sent to me from and wa-la, I typed it in and up popped this sight.  Does someone REALLY think anyone would be stupid enough to get ripped off?  Apparently this person does!  I'm sure this "person" thought if he/she was lucky and got hold of a complete idiot, I would be told he or she would send the money directly to me if I would just give out my routing number, bank account number, and any other information I would give out...oh, oh....I smell Identity Theft!!!  WOW....the person who contacted me is not very intelligent at all.  I sent back a text that said, "Your phone number is all over the Internet as a scammer LOL...Dude get a new number LOL!  

Same here, it's a scammer, don't even reply to him.

Same person Text me saying their Interest on item I was selling. After I put on my ad NO CHECKS.... They still send me a text with details about sending a check. DO NOT SELL ANY ITEM TO THIS PEOPLE, YOU WILL STUPID ENOUGH TO DO SO.

I also call a text from this number saying that their name is Joseph Reyes from 939 S. Riverside Dr, Clarksville, TN.
I am go glad for sites like this so people can be aware of scammers like this.

Person sent a text wanting to buy an item that was listed on Craigslist. They wanted to send a bank check and have the item shipped. The item was listed as cash only and local pickup only. I am glad I checked this number out and found out about the complaints.

this person is a traditional craigslist scammer. They insisted that they are going to be sending me a check via UPS that is $2000 over the price of my 'item', which was a car. When I wrote that I need to meet them at the department of motor vehicles, they said okay. I gave them the address of my U.S. senator. Four weeks later they texted that the check was arriving in a few days for my item, and a shipping agent will contact me soon.
