Yeah, I just got called from this number. And it's on automatic dial so the system recognizes if there is voice mail. The woman wouldn't admit they were a marketing company as our number's on the 'Do Not Call List' I suspect. She had an Indian accent so I asked her where she was phoning from and she paused and then said, "New York."  I told her unless she was using VOIP she was calling from Eastside of Seattle in the 425 area code.  She was persistent. She told me she wanted verification on the personal details connected to a family website: name, address, phone number, fax number and probably a lot more if I had let her carry on. I told her any one of a billion people could get this information off WhoIs. She was persistent.....again.  I admit, I got real annoyed with her and kept repeating, Who Are You?  So I then explained what I do in my free time, and she hung up.

Mine was a guy with an Indian accent asking me about one of my domain names.  He wanted to 'confirm' my information.  I told him that I was on the bus and could hardly hear him (which truly was the case) so we'll see if they call back later.

I get four calls a day from this number.  After a while I answer it hoping they will stop calling.  It is always an Indian guy calling from 'DISH Network'.  I always ask for the supervisor (who is always another Indian guy) who assures me that they will never call me again.  I have reported the number to the do not call list registry and have contacted DISH network.  Not sure what else I can do.

These criminal are always calling me.  Usually when I answer they don't even pick up.  Today they did, and I decided to mess with them, and see how much information I could get out of them.  They are indeed selling Dish Network, but do not work directly for Dish Network.  My caller ID has them as Service Provider, 425-484-9130.  However, I was given their toll free number as 866-520-9164, Satellite Promotions.  Anbrow Joans #DN1881, and Dan Spencer #12234/D.  Everyone, Please call Dish Network, and tell them  these guys are giving them a black eye.  Get Dish Network to shut them down.  Hit em where it hurts, get Dish Network to not pay them for refering new customers.

These a**holes started calling about 2 weeks ago. After I got tired of them calling all the time and not leaving a message, I decided to pick up when they called again. SILENCE!!!!!! They called me 4-5 times in 1 hour yesterday, the last call I picked up and told the guy with an accent that I wasn't interested in what he had to say and not to call my number again. He didn't call again YESTERDAY, but he sure as hell called today. 4-5 times in 30 minutes!!!!!! I tried to answer a couple of the calls to tell them off again.... SILENCE!!!!!! I've even tried calling them back several times to complain, but of course the phone rings busy (POSSIBLY HARASSING SOMEONE ELSE???). I don't have Call Rejection and my next step is to report them to the WA state BBB. I'm sick of them!!!!!!

I just got a call from this number, a man with an Indian accent who claimed to be calling on behalf of "domain registry support". When I told him I didn't have a relationship with any such company, he halfheartedly claimed to be affiliated with my registrar, Dotster, which shouldn't have any 425 phone numbers.

He said he needed to verify my fax number, and when I asked him why, they said their email server was down (!). When I asked why they didn't just wait for it to come back up, he said he'd do that, and hung up. Pretty sketchy.

the indian accent dude keeps calling us. he even told me he would call us 7 times a day if he had to. he was incredibly rude. we did call dish network and they are not legitimate... dish network has never heard of them. i have called king 5's jesse jones to help us all out. you should call too! these guys need to be stopped asap!

same as the rest of ya...female voice from Bangalore I presume, saying she was from domain registry support and wanted to verify my fax number to send me some "updates" to my domain.  Geez, my friggin fax number is all over my website, what is there to verify?!?!
I asked over and over again what the nature of this was and she couldn't be clear.  I told her I'm not interested and she hung up on me.  Hopefully I don't have the daily calls as others have complained about.

I just called the 866 number.  A man with an Indian accent answered "Satallite Promotions."  When I said I need them to stop calling me he hung up on me.
